@punkdoc if she doesn't have a social worker it sounds as if she needs one ... an emergency referral via your local authority 'portal' is usually the way to go ... one from her GP may speed things up.Ā Ā

Gosh Punkdoc. Rather your family than mine. You don’t need those worries as well as everything else. 😳. I hope something can be sorted out for both Mums.Ā

Morning everyone. I’ve had a quiet day today. I even had a sofa nap this afternoon, which is very rare for me. Ā Colouring-in and sitting. I feel guilty for not getting a walk in though.Ā

TV tonight. I’m getting fed up with Michael Portillo trying to dance etc. everywhere he goes. I just want to see the scenery and hear the history. He’s been doing Alaska and Canada recently for us.Ā

Thanks @Dovefromabove, very useful advice, now I just have to get sister to calm down a bit. She is now back in Oxford, catching up on some sleep.

One word to describe that @punkdoc - disgusting
I really hope you can sort something out. I appreciate they need to have rules and regs, and that's right - in normal circumstances. But we're not in 'normal' circumstances.
    Ā
That young girl I mentioned has actually moved in to help that man. He was hugging her and it was so clear how fond she was of him. What a contrast to your story.Ā  :/
Hope your MIL improves a bit too. Love to you all.
@Yviestevie - I forgot to say earlier - hope the little 'un has a lovely birthday. A horrible situation you have with mum too. Love to your family, and everyone else with difficulties.
Wonder how wee chicklet is today?
Better go and take fairylet to work. No buses running at all.Ā
I swear- if anyone dares put a note on my car...they won't know what's hit them....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

That was a lovely story @Fairygirl

Good advice as usual from Dove. Such a difficult situation @punkdoc I think any help available, social workers, doctor etc, must be taken, they sound very unhelpful where she lives.

My lovely friend rang this morning, Hannah and Dee Dee have been collected. End of an era, I am no longer a horse ownerĀ  :'(
