Hosta Hugs to senior Fairylet from me.
First day of Hubby's "isolation" . He's a stubborn old poof and isn't happy but I put it to him that after fighting for a year to beat cancer , he's not going to be beaten by Covid-19.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
we have blue skies and sunshine ... frost on the car roofs is melting ...
Morning @Hostafan1  😊 ... he’s going to hate it ... but at least you’ve got a few acres to confine him in 😉 💡 Tell him if he doesn’t behave you’ll put him on the island 😉

    Good morning friends.

I am a strong person, a practical person and a realistic person (my hard shell) but I have felt quite tearful the last few days (my soft centre).
Take care everyone and enjoy the little things at this difficult time.
Thank goodness for our gardens! I knew it was the best hobby ever!

    Good morning all. Afternoon Pat
Hugs for you Auntyrach! I think a lot of soft centres are showing at the moment.  I was outside washing the car yesterday and everybody that walked past was saying hello, helping each other with shopping and generally pulling together, all at the recommended distance of course.  This is a poor neighborhood with racial tensions and lack of harmony usually but that has changed!

I'm a bit worried as part of my work at the moment is shopping for elderly people who are self isolating, am I still allowed?

@WonkyWomble ... dunno 🤷‍♀️ ... how else are they going to get their food?  My first thought is that as long as you do all the social distancing yourself to keep yourself and them safe, it’ll be permitted ... but I don’t know ... we’re in uncharted territory and for once Mum doesn’t know everything.

The cake 😍 just the ticket!

@WonkyWomble - in the ‘rules’ you are providing an essential service. In order to help them further, just keep the distance and antibacterial wipe the shopping and bag handles if possible and instruct them to wash their hands well after unloading. We have a well-rehearsed system like this for my family.

Have a a good day all.

Thank you auntyrach   :) take good care and thank you again to you and all your colleagues xx
    That's a relief.
I keep gel in the car, I don't use baskets or trolleys but take my own bag round.  I keep a total distance and never socialise except with plants and animals.  Good rule for life!
