Good day here, managed a couple of hours in the garden and then spent some time on the phone trying to be helpful. Looks like London is having very serious problems and sadly these are being made worse by some very intransigent senior doctors.

Afraid so, there are some senior doctors, more prevalent in London, who become affronted when told what to do.

Glad to hear from you DD.  Haven't done much today, a bit of gardening this morning and visited Bestie this afternoon for a cuppa.  We aren't going out and about much but we'll still be meeting up for a natter and a cuppa.  Gabriel has developed a  temperature so Secondborn is a bit worried.  Fingers crossed it's nothing serious.  Have done a ring round tonight to check my sister and family are OK.  She has serious health issues and my neices work in the health sector so are very stressed at the moment.  Stay safe everyone.

Enjoyed tuning in to Monty and Longmeadow this evening.  Wish I’d turned it off straight after, but got hooked into the news ☹️

Frustrating day delivering groceries to the Dads.  Neither get it at all.  Trying to keep the 2 metres distance, even whilst dropping things at the doorstep, was nigh on impossible.  Both think it is an unnecessary panic over nothing.  Both are likely to lose their lives if it gets anywhere near them.

Littlest chicklet has decided to stay in Australia 🇦🇺.  Respect her decision, but also hope I don’t have to field too many sobbing phone calls.  There’s only so much you can do 10,000 miles away.

Hoping everything will seem better in the morning 🤞🏻
