Hi Steve. Long time no see.
I notice that UK is now 10 hours behind us instead of 11 hours. That’ll make it easier to chat to each other.
Being lazy today. Not sure why, but I might get moving in an hour or so.
    Night all.

    Morning all.
Hiya @Steve the Gardening Vet, hope  you're both well.
Terrible night last night. It was gone 2 before I fell asleep and 12 hours of "key working" for me today. Kinda looking forward to being out and about.
Sooooooooooooooooo glad the clocks have changed. Summer is here in my head.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
good to see you @Steve the Gardening Vet 😎
I slept well but must have ‘lain wrong’ on my left shoulder ... what was ‘a bit twingy’ yesterday is ‘ouch’ this morning 🙄

  • Good morning all  :) really enjoying the chat on here, so nice to feel in contact with the world.  :)

Gardening, gardening and more gardening for me, I am doing things that really don't need doing, but it's sunny and bright and lovely to be out there with the birds singing. The ironing pile can wait for a wet day and when I have been brave enough to go out and buy ironing water!  ;)

Charlie has seeds for his gardening patch too.  :) The animal feed place in the village is open alternate mornings so I am hoping they might have some little plug plants of veggies there.

Big hugs to all, stay safe.  :)

    Morning all/afties Pat.
    Hi @Steve the Gardening Vet
Twingy and ouchy @Dovefromabove. How are you defining the difference? As long as you aren't twingy then grouchy ;)
Glad you got some supplies @Lizzie27, even if not all quite 'healthy options'  ;)

A nothing-y looking sort of day here. Bright enough though, and dry. Any frost through the night was gone by the time I got up, but it was down to zero. I'll hopefully get my seeds sown today. Got a bit sidetracked with other bits and pieces yesterday.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • We are good, both essential working but avoiding the general public like lepers! Been weeding out the grass from my problem patch. Might even get the rose bed sorted this year and finally get the cat's ashes into the ground as fertiliser...

I don9 buy special water for my iron.  I pour the water from my condenser dryer into a large plastic bottle, (when I use the dryer that is) and use that. I don't do much ironing though.

Morning, as he days have been getting lighter I wake up earlier, (even with a sleep mask) yesterday I was up bright eyed bushy tailed at 5.30.  Today clock said 8.30 (you know what I mean) it really messes my system up.  I always used to have irons where you had to buy distilled water, the one I have now says, use only tap water, but you fill it every now and then, push a button and the scale comes out.  Where we used to live the water tasted horrible, and was often cloudy, I bought a filter jog, no problem with the water here.  I am amazed in these days of trying to save plastic waste how many people still buy copious amounts of the stuff in bottles.I had to stop ironing last year, when I had tenosinovitus, if things were rally screwed up, they went in the tumble dryer for a couple of minutes.  I do also have a steam refresh programme on my washing machine, but it takes time, so I mostly did a slower spin.I have got a pot of greenhouse begonias, which arent happy in the conservatory, which although NE facing has got up to 30d recently, I put the pot outside, forgot it, whoops, not meant to be below 10D.
