Have just been reading Connexion @Busy-Lizzie, delivered early to give us latest info on France and the virus etc but also online as they don't expect to be able to print it.

They believe the movement restrictions will be extended at least 2 more weeks but French residents can still come home so if your OH doesn't have residency it's just as well you can stay in Norfolk a while longer and be together.Ā  Ryanair and others are expected to park their planes soon too tho you'll get a refund.

It means Possum can't come home either.Ā  Thank goodness for Skype and What's App.

On the up side, I have moved all my dahlia tubers from their current weed ingested end of the raised bed to the empty and cleaned bottom end.Ā  2 bags of horse poo spread and raked and hoed in and the tubers replanted in more organised fashion.Ā  Ā The idea was to fill the entire bed with dahlias but unless I find a plant shop that's allowed to be open because it also sells animal feed the only new dahlias will be Bishop's Children babies I have yet to sow.

Stopped after that as my shoulders are aching from all the painting but hope to get more gardening done tomorrow as I have only one wall to cut in and give a first coat.

Now to go and cook some spicy, gingery, garlicky Thai prawns and noodles and maybe enjoy a glass of wine.

Have a good evening everyone. Bon appétit!

@Yviestevie ... how’s Gabriel now? Ā He sounds like my son used to be ag that age with recurring ear infections. Poor little loves šŸ¤—Ā

@Busy-Lizzie I’m glad you and OH are together ... I’m sure everything will be fine at your place in France ... it would be hellish to be apart for an indeterminate length of time in the present situation. (( hugs))

    Bon appetit! @Obelixx.

We've been doing some gardening at last (2nd dry, sunny day) so I have really enjoyed it. Neighbour was cutting down some tall bamboo with lovely green stems which he didn't want (unbelievable eh!) so gave them to me.
I have to learn how to Skype and Zoom so I can keep in touch better with my children/grandchildren, so may have to ask for help soon.Ā

We are hoping our niece is safely back from South America by now, her father was picking her up from Heathrow.Ā

Yes ... Kenny Rogers RIP 😢 Ā ... not always my sort of thing but I can’t deny the quality of the records. And Islands in the Stream ... now that was amazing ... one of the all time great recordings.Ā
Those BeeGee brothers knew how to write an earworm though - that one's been with me all day. So I tried to excise it by watching a YouTube of Dolly and Kenny singing it live - they were so good togetherĀ :)

@Dovefromabove Gabriel is still off the hooks, not eating and very quiet, he still has a temperature but no coughing and his breathing is good so we're hoping he'll be fine in a day or so.

At least if Gabriel has the virus they say that the young recover well from it.

Thank you @Obelixx and @Dovefromabove Now that the horses are sorted I'm enjoying confinement with OH! Thank heavens we are together.

@Yviestevie it does sound a lot like one of my son’s ear infections to me ... he didn’t cry much ... the vibration hurts the ear ... he did grind his teeth when he was asleep tho.Ā

Just been watching a recorded episode of Vera I must’ve slept through when it was on first time ... I managed to stay awake this time ... just.Ā

The fencing man is coming first thing Monday morning ... OH has been clearing the compost heaps out of the way ... lots of lovely crumbly compost has been spread all over the veg patch 😊

Now it’s time for bed and Round Britain Quiz ...

    Sleep tight all ((hugs))

We spent a few hours on the eastern veranda today relaxing in the sunshine and doing our own things. Him with his computer and me with my colouring book. We actually saw two vehicles drive along our road šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. Ā Very quiet here.Ā

Hope everyone is well including little Gabriel.Ā
