Thinking of you Chicky. She should be ok, I think. Donāt forget to let me know if thereās anything we can do, although weāre limited as well. I could always chat to her if that helped. š
The day is nice and warmish except for a cool breeze. Ā Got him out of the house anyway. š The river is still not running except for a trickle. Need rain, yet again.Ā
The neighbour over the river has been preparing paddocks for rain by the looks of things.Ā
Good morning allĀ āļøĀ Chicky š¤ I understand Chickletās decision ... I wouldnāt want to be Ā facing a global air trip at the moment ... but youāll feel so far away ... š¤ š¤ š¤ That goodness for tāinternet etc. š And thereās always @Pat E Ā š Lovely pics Pat šĀ
We werenāt able to watch GW as we had to drive out and pick up our online Morrisonās order as their driver had phoned in sick ... Iāll watch on iPlayer today.Ā

Good morning everyone, so nice to drop straight back in and feel like I am amongst old friends, well friends of old I should say, not old, I know we are all only 27. Are we still 27 btw?Ā
Beautiful morning here, hopefully as nice as yesterday. I did manage a bit of feeble pruning, can't believe how weak I have become after just a silly illness, but I can feel myself getting better each day, I'll soon have the spades out!Ā
Making plans for new menu and new staff rota for when all this is over and hopefully next week might be up to doing a bit of decorating whilst closed. It will be so much easier than dodging around long opening hours and customers trying to eat cake.Ā : Just need to find a shop open that sells a paintbrush and work out which box I have to tick on my release form to go and get it, but that's a problem for next week.Ā
I hope you are all well and staying safe, we are so lucky to be a set of people who will actually be quite content to be locked in our gardens.Ā
āCoffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?ā āBetsy CaƱas Garmon
Lovely pics @Dordogne Damsel š thanks for sharing. Donāt go overdoing things ... youāre still recovering ... donāt want to put yourself back.Ā

Morning all/afties Pat. Hubby will want to be outdoors doing his thing, won't he?Ā Look after yourselves x @chicky- horrible position for you to be in, but safer for chicklet I guess. T'internet is so useful in these circumstances. A virtual hug for her will be most welcome, though it can never take the place of the real thing. Lovely pix @Dordogne Damsel. My hyacinths are only just pushing through, although the bright pink ones, all in the same conditions in pots, are flowering now. It's cheering for you too. Take it easy, and yes - still 27Ā Old Kenny Rogers eh? I was quite young when 'Ruby, don't take your love to town' was released. I can still remember thinking - what a song. It still is.Ā Bless his old cotton socks.Ā The light frost has gone and we have cloudy grey stuff. At least it's dry, if a tad chilly.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hi everyone, Iām just putting together some meat and vegs (and chips of course,) but not really hungry yet. Watching the news, but itās all about the virus. Ā
Still light, but cool enough to turn on the warm cycle of the air con. We should sleep well with a bit of cool weather.Ā
Good morning.Ā Sunny here so painting this morning and gardening this pm.Ā My hyacinths are over already - except the ones I found the other day that OH had stashed in the shed without telling me.Ā They were planted on Thursday so I hope they'll be OK, even if we only get leaves this year.
@Dordogne Damsel - my Leclerc and @Busy-Lizzie's do paint and brushes and varnish and polyfilla and stuff so just go and do a grocery shop with extras.
Good decision by chicklet @Chicky tho it will be hard for both of you.Ā I'm chatting with Possum via daily posts on Messenger and we have What's App and Facetime if we need live chats.Ā Ā Not so bad for us as we have each other and the garden and the critters but she's on her own in an apartment and stuck indoors.Ā Ā Fine now while she has rain but not so good if this goes on a long time.
Stay safe everyone and make the most of the time at home.
Yes ... Kenny Rogers RIP š¢ Ā ... not always my sort of thing but I canāt deny the quality of the records. And Islands in the Stream ... now that was amazing ... one of the all time great recordings.Ā

Really enjoyed having GW back, starts to feel like Spring is really here.
Very worrying for you, @chicky, but imo. she is much safer not flying at the moment.
Up early, so Moira can head out and see if she can find any food, we are running quite short.
