    I use to get regular and put the hems up but today I found short was longer than it used to be.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    M & S 'short' lengths are now far too long for me and jeans are not that easy to put up.
    When I queried this with the sales staff, they said they'd had lots of complaints, they couldn't do anything about it and suggested I bought something called 'ankle grazers' with side zips!  I don't want those.

    Rain!!!! hooray. This is the expected rain from the northwest WA cyclone. It came diagonally across the whole continent. Very pleased to get it. 

    Hope yours eases in UK and Europe.

    I suspect you’re right a Hosta. It seems as though the remnants of the cyclone have spread over a huge area .

    Rain, rain and more rain most of today and tonight and then another storm will hit us tomorrow with lively tho not gale force winds.
