I am sure many of you will not want to see this, or will believe it is false truth, but I have just posted something on the COVID 19 thread, that some of you might want to see.
    Please don't shoot the messenger.

Well, we've just been out to do our weekly shop.  No UHT milk, everyone who normally buys the other sort seem to be stockpiling the milk we normally use.  Obviously no loo rolls, hope they keep delivering the local paper or we shall be in  trouble.  On a more positive note hubby's new guitar was delivered so that should keep him busy for a while.  I've got loads of seeds on the go and six bags of potting compost, plus I've got a new area to sort out in the garden now the conifers have finally gone. So that should keep me busy.  If I run out of gardening jobs I may be forced to do housework and that would be a disaster.
Secondborn is very concerned that if the schools close and she has to stay at home with hubby she might just kill him (he's a bit of a hypochondriac)
This is the new area I'm planning out at the moment, it's bigger than it looks.

    It's certainly worrying @punkdoc.
No chance of shooting you, although I dare say some will want to poke you with a sharp stick  ;)
Apologies @Dovefromabove. I thought it was your OH who had confronted the ar**holes in the shop. Good on him. He obviously was brung up good  ;)

You could grow runner beans and squashes up that arbour @Yviestevie.     ;)

Housework @Yviestevie? Surely it'll never get that bad.... ;)
I can sympathise with 2nd born. I think there's a few families that would feel like that.
Rain has stopped play here again. Hope you get a dry enough spell for the new project.
I have some indoor ones I can do to keep me busy, or I can footle on here, although I've been trying to avoid doing too much of that.
Hubby can always serenade you while you do the housework..... :D

We've been married 45 years @Fairygirl his playing is great but if he starts singing we might not reach 46.  @Dovefromabove there are two new roses (Shropshire Lad) already planted at the foot of the arch, they have been in since last summer.
I've just been out and planted a flowering cherry Hally Jolivette which should grow to mask the window behind it.  Will be planting mahonia charity in the corner as that gives good security, food for the birds, it's evergreen and gives some good bright colour when nothing much else is in flower.  I'm also moving a rhododendron up there out of a pot and rose Little White Pet which is also currently in a pot.
Not sure when to move the Rhododendron though.

In that case @punkdoc, here's one my sister sent me

@Yviestevie you could always gag him then!
Those should be good choices for the corner. Mahonia is excellent for some winter colour. I can't see mine very well as it's just out of sight from the front windows, but when it flowers, I catch it. The small birds are always flitting in and around it too.

    🤣

Just been out to fill up the bird feeders - need some entertainment out the kitchen window.

Contemplating an afternoon of buddleja pruning 🤔

I'm way ahead of you @chicky. We had two dry days last month, so I hacked mine then, just in case it didn't stop raining till September.

That would be a good title for a song..... :D
