I've been struggling with the bathroom floor, laying click vinyl planks. A You Tube film said it was easy and a beginner could do it, but I'm finding it very awkward. In the You Tube he had a plumber take out the loo and wash basin, I haven't.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Another busy day in the garden, finished sorting out the border at the top of the garden and it's now ready for planting. Spread FBB on the borders. Feel like I'm getting on top of it now, next job is to sort out the greenhouse ready to get the seedlings in once I have potted them up.
Had a bit of a disaster, a leak under the kitchen sink has meant we have had to call out an emergency plumber at weekend rates. £179 for call out and the first hour plus VAT. Not a happy bunny.
Sad to see all the devastation @Pat E just hoping things start regenerating quickly.
@punkdoc we were in Hamilton Island off coast of Queensland a week ago and Singapore about a month ago. I am assuming it was something I ate on the plane as it started 24 hours after, and noone else has gone down with it.
Jigsaw Genius is the one I use @Fairygirl..... I like the 400 piece ones, and I like not knowing what the picture is. It gives you a “can you see what it is yet” moment (probably not allowed to use that quote anymore 😐)
I didn't realise you were still crook @Chicky. Hope it passes soon.
Just had a mail from a patch committee colleague. It seem the French PM has suggested the French stay at home and avoid all public gatherings, including family meetings for the foreseeable. All public places not essential to life are to be closed - bars, restaurants etc - and only food shops and pharmacies and such to stay open. Bloody brilliant. I need paint so I can get some decorating done whilst confined to barracks. Bums.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
Our Leclerc sells paint, but would it be the right colour @Obelixx ? My children in France have rung today. Daughters, teachers, have to teach from home via Internet while looking after their own children. DIL is an orthodontist and most of her patients are children who must stay at home. Restaurants, cinemas etc are all shut from Monday. The English C of E church is shut down. We are supposed to be going back on Tuesday, not a good time for travelling. Wish I could stay in Norfolk but need to look after the 2 old horses.

Love the Rolf Harris allusion.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
about 9C here @Pat E ... grey and overcast. Not windy yet but the forecasters say it will be.
