@punkdoc I've been meaning to read that for ages ... you've spurred me to order a (secondhand) copy ... thank you.

Hi everyone. Lovely to see you posting. 😁

im weary today. We went for a longish drive instead of shopping in town today, so I’m reading a novel.

    Catch you all later.

Good afternoon.   Weekly SM raid done but using the scenic route.  All the rain flooding local rivers plus the recent spate of very high tides have closed the main road to Luçon so we had to go a long way round.   The only thing in short supply was soap refills for my liquid soap dispensers but they had the ones I needed.  I don't get on with bar soap.  Makes my hands itchy.

Announcement on the radio is that parents of children under 16 can claim statutory sick pay as of Monday which will help with child care during the closures.   I still don't know if my patch and mosaic activities can go ahead or have to be cancelled.  Not worried for me but don't want to be passing things on to the less robust.   Public transport still OK, so far.

It's sunny with cloudy bits.   No rain expected.   We might start to dry out enough to do some gardening then!  Can't spend the next 2 weeks all indoors.  That way lies madness, or at least a lot of grumping.

Hope everyone is well and being sensible.  Stay safe.

It’s Friday, I have a day off and it’s fine and dry - lovely jubbly.
    Have a good day all.

Hi everyone, just checking in volunteer day at Capel yesterday, only did morning then went to plots to try digging, still very sticky.
@punkdoc I have tried to stay off the Corvid 19 thread but have been reading most of it, just to let you know I am with you -one of the few sane voices on there.

Thank you @Allotment Boy, I have doubted my own sanity a few times due to some of the comments.

Who needs facts when you've got Google?

Plenty DO believe you @punkdoc and I'm one of them.

In the meantime, this will be perfect for greenhouse work.

I’m enjoying this one, reminding me of The Well of Loneliness, which I  read some time ago, both tragic stories.

Yes, I really liked that too, @Lyn, not sure why I read it before The God of Small Things.
