Just had a chat with @WonkyWomble ... she has plants for me, I have plants for her. If we decide not to travel to each other we’re going to grow each other’s plants and send each other email photos for the duration.

As you’ve all said, thank goodness for the internet and forum friends.  Hugs, ☕️ and 🍰 for everyone 🤗

Well, it seems that president Macron has spoken to the nation while we were at dance class and the over 70s are advised to stay at home for the duration.  That's 2/3rds of the Monday patch club and our teacher for Thursday's machine patch.   We will see.   Not sure how they're all supposed to get their groceries as SMs here don't deliver and even if they did their slots would all be full by now.

Hope you get home OK @Busy-Lizzie.   Possum tells us that schools and colleges in Belgium are expected to close from Monday and maybe public transport too including planes.   I didn't think Belgium was as far on as Italy or as badly affected.

And now I've learned all French schools, colleges and universities will be closed from Monday.   Lovely.

We went to the GC today when it was less crowded just before it closed, and stocked up on compost and stuff. That’ll keep us occupied while we’re keeping ourselves to ourselves.

Night night all ... sweet dreams 🛌

I saw too @Obelixx that President Macron has announced that all schools and universities will be closed from Monday. As both parents work in most French families who will look after the children? If a parent stays at home what will happen to their salary, business etc? Sounds as though France will crawl to a near standstill.

I expect a lot will rely on grandparents but many of those will be in the 70s age group or near enough and they've been advised to stay at home.

Just to cheer you up @Hostafan1 ... our blue sky has gone and it’s grey and overcast now ☹️
