    Good morning all.
@Pat E, thanks to @Fire, I've just been reading our water report.  We've a pretty high average rainfall but over the last 6 months we've had " exceptionally high " rainfall.  In February we've had 240% of "normal" values.

Good morning. I slept like a log last night - but I was shattered. Work extremely busy with planning, preparing and worrying about ‘it’.
We had high winds and lashing rain last night, but it sounds calmer out there now and the sun is peeping.

Have a a good day all.

    Morning all, afternoon Pat.
Bright day so far, supposed to be blustery winds and showers, hopefully the coastal wind will make them blow over quickly!
Did my first late night slug patrol by torchlight last night, seeds OK but glad I did it!
    Have a good day folks!

Good morning.  Our forecast says sunny with cloudy spells for the next 4 days.  So far we just have the clouds.   Still, 4 dry days will help the soil dry out a bit, won't they?

Crafting for me today.   Found a cheap clock in a crafty shop yesterday - plain wooden square with some holes and a clock mechanism.  Needs painting and furbishing for the patch club so we know when it's time to put on the kettle.

    Take care everyone.

    Morning all.
It was very windy in the night, howling gale in fact and the phone woke me by beeping when the power went on and off. Still windy.
OH and his friend who is staying are putting a water butt by the shed, seems the pipe work is being tricky.

    Hi all

    Looks lovely @Busy-Lizzie.
Sunny day here, so have been trying to get a bit done.
DoH have been trying to persuade me that I could do some work for them, based at home, am rather torn about it. In some respects I feel I have a certain duty to help, in others I feel I would just like to tend my garden. I have already faced considerable grief on the Corvid 19 [ sic ] thread and now feel perhaps I don't want to be involved.
    Anyway, back to the garden.

Love the Fox & Goose @Busy-Lizzie ... as you know I used to live in the next village and it was our 'place to go' for birthdays etc with friends, or just a lovely meal out.  Of course, when I went it was still owned by Ruth Watson of Hotel Inspector fame, who put it on the foodie map.

Hi everyone. I've been a bit absent here. Gradually working my way back  ;)

Can I just say @punkdoc, people will always jump on board with all sorts of beliefs and thoughts which are, at best, misguided, when it comes to medical matters. I suppose it's inevitable when we all have Mr Google in front of us, and you get one saying this, and the next saying the opposite. You can only do so much, so most importantly, do what helps you. Time to be a bit selfish eh?
It'll be a while before any gardening gets done here, other than tidying etc. I'm currently making the grass [can't call it a lawn] smaller in the back garden for various reasons. Thunder that woke me last night @Busy-Lizzie. The overnight snow has gone and it's just wintery, windy, wet, sleety, haily stuff now, so more indoor stuff to do. H**sework I suppose, as I've almost finished sorting photos and getting them printed and hung up. Not sure I can remember where the hoover is....
I've no real idea of what's been going on in everyone's daily doings, so I'll just wish everyone well, and hopefully, despite the sad news of yesterday, we can all look forward to a bit of warmer, drier weather to get outside a bit more, and be positive.

Thanks to everyone who posted on the Lily Pilly thread. The care home she was in is quite near me, strengthening my thoughts that I might have known her in previous circumstances. I may ask her hubby at some point in the future.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
