I'm enjoying being back in Norfolk. We went for a pre lunch sherry with friends then to the cinema to see Dr Dolittle. Bit daft, acting not brilliant, preferred Rex Harrison, but it was still fun. Cinema was almost empty, it was the last day. I'm going for an early walk with 2 friends tomorrow morning.
The garden here is more advanced than the French garden. Daffodils that I planted in the autumn are out, so are botanical tulips, violas, some aubretia, an epimedium, Brunnera, hellebores and a peony is showing fat red stems.
@Obelixx, from Feb thread, my French oven is a Rangemaster Falcon too, but it doesn't have a glass lid.
Some people were wearing masks at Stansted airport.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I wondered whether they might ask you @Punkdoc, but think you're wise to decline. I'm quite fatalistic about it, if we get it, we get it but will take sensible precautions in the meantime. Fortunately we haven't anything planned involving lots of other people until April/May so will wait and see. I'm more worried about our children, particularly my son who sometimes has to travel by train quite a lot.
That made me laugh Dove. For some reason I’ve been tired all day. I did manage to go to Ukelele though. It was, as usual, a lovely friendly afternoon. We are working our way through some Beatles songs
I think we might get some rain tonight or tomorrow. Fingers crossed. 😃
Im not surprised you’re feeling tired @Pat E ... you’ve been stressed and ‘running on adrenaline’ for the last few months ... when that stress is over the body’s response is to slump into a feeling of exhaustion. Treat yourselves gently ((hugs)).
Glad you enjoyed your Ukelele class ... that’s just the sort of thing you need 😊 👍

Thanks Dove. You’re right of course. I just need reminding every now and then. 😏
The trouble is that we’ve decided to try not to mix with people more that usual because of the virus, and we’ve got to go to Canberra for the cancer specialist appt. again this week, so there’ll be a bit is sitting in waiting rooms etc. never mind. I’m trying to feel positive.
Hope your weather over there has settled down a bit.
I've been watching a pair of Gt Tits busy around the blue tit nest box on the ash tree trunk ... one of them has been perched on the roof watching the other pecking away trying to enlarge the hole and repeatedly testing it out for size ... will they manage to make it the right size for them I wonder? There is a proper Gt Tit nest box elsewhere in the garden, but it obviously is not a Des. Res.

I slept like a log ... when I woke it was sunny outside with some fine rain ... it felt a bit springlike 🌱 😊
