Morning all. Looks a lovely day. Yesterday the car said it was 16°.

I'm going to plant the clematis and foxgloves that I bought then we are going out to lunch in a Suffolk pub.

No tennis today, so this morning Im sorting seeds and making lists of the ones we need that we don't already have several packs of ... then later on we'll go to the GC for compost, seeds and even more bird food ... we have so many goldfinches and chaffinches, not to mention greenfinches and tits,  they're eating us out of house and home.

Just back from hairdressers , having a cuppa and then heading into the garden to marvel at the big shiny thing in the sky which has appeared.

Hi folks, hope everyone is OK. I've been out and about today, bought some bags of stone to replace the border around the pond and a new ornamental cherry tree (Hally Jolivette) to plant where the conifers were removed last week.  Haven't done any gardening today as I'm still aching from earlier in the week.

Hope you enjoy your new cherry tree @Yviestevie, mine's looking lovely just now (also planted to partially obscure house opposite). It's grown quite a bit in ten years, I think the max was about 26ft which will be okay. Even when it's leafless in winter it still looks good.

Yviestevie you might want to check the pH of the soil before you put the new tree in. Conifers like acid soil. 😏
