Hiya @Fairygirl .... sometimes it's a surprisingly small world, even now.  I find that quite reassuring.

Hi everyone - nice to see you, @Fairygirl.   :)

Anyone who loves cleaning is welcome to visit... two large builders have just removed the ceiling in the utility.  The mess is... extensive...

@punkdoc, I agree with @Fairygirl do what you feel is right, for YOU.
The stuff written about COVID19 is beyond paranoia/conspiracy theory. Ignore it.

Been there @Liriodendron- too many times for my liking!
It always amazes me how easily you get used to that layer of dust over everything....

Apart from that - hope all the house rebuilding/renovation is going well. I don't expect your weather has been very helpful for it either. I've been watching a couple of chaps on a roof across from me, and feeling quite sorry for them. It seems to be a flat roof extension of some kind, so not sure what they're doing, but it's bl**dy miserable for them.
It is indeed a small world @Dovefromabove :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Liriodendron ... I remember when Wonky was small we had some work done on the house (Papa Womble was a builder).  We had no ceiling in the utility room, but the men were up on the flat roof doing stuff with tar ... I hadn't been told this was going to happen and went out, leaving a pile of freshly ironed laundry on the freezer in the utility room ... and came home to find tar had dripped through a crack onto the laundry 😡

At last I feel I'm getting better, a good night's sleep with no coughing. OH volunteered to do the SM shop this morning so just having a coffee. Son's 47th birthday today - how can he possibly be 47!!!! and it's 13 years since I fractured my back in a silly accident so I've made a good recovery from that. I remember joking with the paramedic that I'd last had gas and air when my son was born.

Although we had high winds and rain overnight, it's now sunny and dry so ought to get out there.

@Liriodendron - I hope the ceiling removal was intentional! Poor you, I remember well the mess that knocking things down causes. It will eventually be lovely no doubt. A word of warning though, my accident above happened when I fell through a hole in the floorboards in the house we were renovating so do watch your step!

@Punkdoc - an unenviable dilemma. Would it be possible to choose how many hours you did? Your own health must come first of course.

In theory yes @Lizzie27, but in practice i suspect it would become all consuming, unless of course the virus just goes away!

I think you're right @Punkdoc and no, I don't think it's going to go away. At least we'll have our gardens to potter about in (weather permitting - has yours dried out yet?) and help take our minds off the situation.

Still very wet in places, but I have been out today, doing stuff in other areas. It is a great way to take your mind off other things.

Don't let the b*ggers get you down @punkdoc.  I'd have thought that your own health issues mean you can't help on the front line anyway so how practicable would it be to help remotely?   Can't see you getting much gardening done at the mo without a snorkel or waders but plenty of planning to get on with and maybe some sowing.
