I’d probably survive without tea, but it wouldn’t be my preferred thing. Drinking water pales by comparison.

    Frost here too ❄️

Finally feeling back to normal - hurrah 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Time to catch up on some indoor jobs - ir@ni*g to podcasts first I think 🤔

Agree on the “no milk for tea situation” ...... dire 😱

    Glad you’re feeling better @chicky ... don’t overdo it!

Pleased to hear you're feeling better Chicky.
Daughter not only drinks decaf tea but adds soya milk - looked absolutely foul (think bright orange!)  and stained the mugs horribly. Rather her than me.

@Pat E - not having tea with milk would be a major emergency for me! That is a sacrifice too far!
Me too. My only vice   :D
Hope your day isn't too hellish.
    Morning everyone else/afties Pat.
Wee touch of frost here, but it's already going. I'll get on with my turf lifting project before the rain comes back later.
Glad you're more perky now @chicky, but ironing? Won't that set you back? :D
@Lizzie27. My daughter can't drink ordinary milk, so she  has almond milk, but she only has it for the odd  coffee. There's no calcium in it though, which always worries me. I believe rice milk is better though - might try that for her. I use the plant based cream if I do sauces, and some of the yogurts aren't too bad if they have enough spices in them.

    Hi all

Busy day here, being visited by "powerful" people, not sure what to expect.

I have nearly all the vices and also consume a lot of milk, I have a strange belief that a few glasses late at night helps me sleep.

Glad you are back to normal @chicky

    Morning all.

Hot chocolate helps me to sleep. Tea in the evening means the loo in the night.

We are taking @punkdoc ‘s advice on the Covid thread and going back to France tomorrow, together, flight permitting, to bury ourselves in the countryside and eat the contents of the two freezers.

I hope it goes well with the “powerful” people @punkdoc, don’t agree to more than you can cope with.
