Hi Dove. Interesting evening news today. It’s all about the virus. I think I might give Ukelele a miss tomorrow. We sit in a fairly small room, so it’s not worth the risk. I’ll try to practice at home, 😉

At least I got a heap of laundry done today. 😁

    Morning all.
    Pouring with rain here.
Not looking forward to work today. The perfect storm of pouring rain, extra deliveries and panic buying. Wish me luck

    Morning peeps 😀

Had the best night’s sleep I’ve had all week.  Hoping that I’ve turned a corner.  Planning a gentle stroll around the garden later to make a list of the jobs I can get on with once I’m feeling better.  Think I desperately need some garden time to restore my soul, and stop me compulsively checking news headlines.

@Hostafan1.  You and your colleagues are about to become a vital link for many.  Are there any plans to recruit more of you on a temporary basis I wonder?

Morning all/afties Pat. I think it's wise for you to stay home. The last thing you and hubby need is any more illness.
@Obelixx- and is the French government going to help out all these businesses if they fold?  :/
A sense of balance is needed methinks
I saw on the news earlier that some corner shops are delivering to older people. Makes sense. Older people self isolating, and those shops are the kind who rely on older folk, and ones without transport etc. to stay in business, as well as just local customers and schoolkids.
What's going to happen to all the children who have exams if they just close schools? I see they're closing them for 16 weeks in NI. Are they just going to give them all 'A's then....
Wind woke me up a few times yesterday. Don't think I'll get much done outside until tomorrow.
    Glad you're a bit more chipper @chicky.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hope this virus ends before the tick season starts.
Otherwise it's going to be, Corona and Lyme.
How can you lie there and think of England

I am looking out seeds to start sowing! Planning for a beautiful garden in the summer as fiancé is unable to work because of *** as people are not going out to eat so our holiday is not going to happen. Instead I will plan lots of summer garden events.
I hope the schools don’t close, many children rely on free school meals and will go hungry without them.
