    Indulgence is good @raisingirl .....glad you had a lovely day

    @punkdoc sounds idyllic .....enjoy

    Quiet house here, now that both Chicklets are back at Uni ☹️  Had a great night out in Nottingham last night.  There’s life in the old dogs yet 😉. Stopped at Waterperry gardens on the way home.  Caught them in that betwixt and between spring and summer phase, so not much to see. Although interesting to see a less than spectacular wisteria that had half of its flower buds blighted by frost ....at least its not only us that suffers 😜

    We’ve had a lovely day in the garden too... grass cut, veg patch hoed and raked, climbers tied in, beds weeded,  plants planted, pots watered and fed, newts and frogs communed with and a lot of sitting on one bench or another to survey the scene  😊 anc Ged first picking of broad beans is nearly ready 🍽

    Now it’s time for bed ... sweet dreams everyone 🛌 😴 🐏 🐑 🐑 🐑

    Good morning.  Been dicing with a dicky tum most of the weekend but seems OK now.   Sunny day here but indoors for me - patchwork this pm with biscuits to make before I leave and a pow-wow on the way with fellow patchers.  There be goings-on!

    Glad the sofas and recliners are good Pat.   Soon be end of term Chicky.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello all, hope you're doing well, and that the dicky tum has finished, Obxx. It's a glorious day here so I've been in the garden pottering. Still reclaiming the end section - taking my time finding spots for most of the stuff that was there before, and thoroughly enjoying myself. It won't be plant filled - under four leylandii and between two yews it's just dust and not even weeds grow there. But it's going to be a useful space and not a junk yard, I am determind!

    First 'proper' day of GCSEs today - Bow's in an exam right now. After the very, very, very long and intense build up it feels kind of unmomentous (that's not a word, is it?). Both kids were in a music competition yesterday (Bow won! There was prize money! We had no idea) so that took all our minds off the impending tests.

    Right - spot of lunch and back out there, I think. Have a good day.

    Congratulations to Bow LG and commiserations on the GCSE's. My grandson is starting his Stats tests today (last year in primary). The teachers have made the kids lives an absolute misery over the last few months - no wonder the kids today have mental health issues. He is very bright and can cope but some of the others may not be able to do so.

    Well done Bow!

    Sorry you've had an upset tum, Obelixx.

    We had a lovely time in Malvern with our friends. We went to the Flower Show on Friday. I'll post some photos. Also went to a local GC where I bought a geranium Rozanne and Jolly Red Jewel for the Norfolk garden. Went out for a delicious meal in a lovely old pub too.

    Back to France tomorrow.
