I have a huge box of VHS  tapes looking for a home. Apparently even the charity shops won't take them.
Liri, I'm glad your boiler is fixed.
I hope Moira feels better soon.

Happy Birthday, Dove. It is my sister in laws birthday today as well.  Odd how Birthdays in our families match up.  Both toyboys as well.

    Evening.
Hope you’ve had a relaxing day Dove.
Hurray for boiler mend Liri - just in time for a cold snap.
Hope tomorrow is better for Mrs Punk.
    Hope everyone else doing ok.
Just had home made chicken and veg soup which I ruined from any healthiness with some home made savoury scones - delicious 😋. Full as an egg now!

Good evening.  Pleasant afternoon at patch tho really the group is called "Art & Needles" so there's bits of embroidery and stuff going on too.   Quiet subversion going on as some are now embracing machine patch....   Then mosaic where, having completed an iris I have started on a red robin, both on little blocks of marine ply so I won't be doing the grouting till I have a batch to do all at once.  Friendly, chatty people in both groups.

Got home at 8:20 to find dinner isn't ready!!  Can't get the staff these days.

FG - have you been blown away on your first day of freedom?   Chicky - hope the dentist's activities don't interfere with dinner.   Liri - glad you're warma nd toasty now.  AR - love savoury scones and most soups.

Pdoc - be patient.  Gentle hugs for Moira.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Morning all.

Ive started getting some of thevwashing in. Still lots of heavier clothes to dry off.😏 it’s hot out there at midday. I think the prediction is for 33, but rain later. 7mm yesterday. Very gratefully received.

Dove I was thinking about your comment about soft water and realised that we have it anyway. All of our house water is rain water collected in our guttering and drained into our tanks. No town water here! The only hard water is from the bore which is used on the garden. 😃 no chlorine here! More blessings about living out of town.
I really hate the taste of Canberra water when we visit the kids.

Hubby is on his way home from Canberra and his MRI. He sounds happy. He will see the specialist for the results on 4 Feb.

Good to hear Mr Pat sounds happy 😃 Hope Moira starts to feel a bit brighter today.

Dentistry all seems to have been successsful, no more 🐹 here.  Heading off to work now, bit worried that I might get caught out in this coming snow.  I have boots, water, chocolate and my warmest coat.....and a shovel that I would have no idea what to do with 🤔
