Hey Pat. I’d like to say that I would relish your 33 degrees and washing on the line etc but realistically I would probably melt in that! I’m off to brave the cold rain now - at least it’s not windy! Have a good day all.
Good morning. Up and at 'em early for me as a man is coming to install a smart water meter so we'll be cut off most of the day. Buckets and bowls and pans and kettle filled, all non-dishwasher dishes done and a big red salad washed and chopped and dressed.
It is grey and mild and wet so far but set to get cold and windy later on. No washing, clearly, and clean activities needed so homework I think.
33C sounds fine to me Pat. Glad OH is on his way home and happy.
Good luck Chicky and anyone else on the roads today with snow in the offing.
Oh brilliant! OH has just had a phone call from the garage. he's got his rendez-vous confused. Today is car day, not water. Doh! Now I have to follow him to Luçon so we can leave Sally to get her new drive belt..........

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. I still wouldn't swap weather with you! I feel sorry for the blokes here to do the wall. Minus 4 yesterday when they started, and snow today. It's only about an inch just now but no good for them. They have to put a second coat of render on, but if the snow doesn't go off, they can't do it. At least yesterday they got a bit of sun although it was still chilly. Hope your birthday was all you hoped for yesterday, and more. I was slightly absent here doing other things so hadn't looked in. The birds were out before it was light, looking for some scran. Hope the meter fitting goes ok Obelixx. We haven't had any pressure to have them fitted - so far. I'll have a look round before I have more tea. This retiring thing is a great lark!

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Dove - he has a diary in his phone and on his PC and a calendar on the kitchen wall. He just got confused between "corroy de distribution" for the car and a digital meter to read water consumption. He can be cloth-eared in English and clearly needs to pay more attention in French.
We do, at last, have little bulby noses poking out from a window box and the new bed we made under the magnolia. No sign of snowdrops or wild garlic in the "shade" bed that isn't and too wet at the mo to go and see the other 3 beds where bulbs should be showing. What's the betting tat when I do venture out to the shed I'll find bulbs I forgot to plant?
Snow, frost and render does not make a happy mix FG. Hope you get your leaky bits fixed soon. We now have a weather warning out for winds between 70 and 90mph later on. Lovely.

It's just around zero here Pat. The men have been sent elsewhere for the morning. Snow has gone off now, so hopefully they can get on with it later. Fingers crossed.

33C is way too hot for me @Pat E. Glad that OH seems to have had positive news.
How exasperating @Obelixx ... get that man a diary 😉
