    Good morning,
Pat it really seems the extreme conditions are at both ends of the world
i truly hope all our friends in the south are safe and warm  it’s so unusual for you to cope with this. The pictures look so bad.  Can you all stay at home?
we can’t believe we have escaped, so far?

-8 here just now am away to run all the taps. Our wee village has a crazy habit of dropping temperatures when the sun rises!
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

  • Hello all . Sorry this is rather an after the event comment but I'm only very occasionally on this forum and i realised that you guys probably didn't know what happened to Happy Marion.  There's no terrible tale here. I know her from another gardening group and she's doing ok. Her family are taking good care of her as she's having some issues with dementia. She does sometimes get access to the internet but understandably remembering passwords is an increasing issue but she has plenty if help. If there were any specific messages I could pass those on. Thanks for your kind concern. Busy Lizzie  Hostafan and Dove

Thanks very much for letting us know CottageGarden.  I had decided that she must have passed away since it was so long since we’d heard from her.  She might remember my posts.  I’m in Australia and we occasionally swapped plant chat.

  • Ok thanks Pat E I will pass on a hello from you via her daughter. I must admit I lost contact with her on the other group and was concerned we'd lost her but no  :)

Excuse me for popping in to the thread, but just to say thank you to @CottageGardenFlowerLady for letting us know about Happy Marion. I used to love reading her posts and must confess to fearing the worst when she suddenly stopped posting. It's always concerning when that happens.
I'm glad to hear she is still around  :)
