Oooh dear it sounds grim down in the southwest, 100 vehicles stranded at Bodmin, others at Delabole and the A30. Hope all Forkers and their loved ones are home safe and sound ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Bad on the A38 as well, between Plymouth and Exeter. Daughter's just taken 2 hours to get home and is now gulping whisky! Snow so heavy she couldn't see any catseyes or edge of the road.
Decided to drive down to Brighton this evening to get here before the snow sweeps in. Will work from home tomorrow (just it will be from my sister’s home ....no one will know 😉). Feel happier now - hate driving in the snow ⛄️.
Glad you enjoyed your cake Rgirl. And pleased Moira is up and about.
Good idea Chicky and no doubt good to see your sis too.
We will be driving to St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie tomorrow for a proper lunch to celebrate Possum's birthday which was back in exam time 11 days ago and the end of Veganuary. Set to be warmer and drier tomorrow. I hope so.
Dancing was another good workout tonight - 45 mins of samba with new steps thrown in then 10 mins of rumba and, just when I was feeling safe, she threw in 5 minutes of jive to finish us off. Home to Possum and she and I have booked her flight and a hotel so she and I can spend a few days exploring Carcassonne and Toulouse at the start of her Easter hols.
That's maddening Hosta. We got the reversing camera option on our newer car as OH was forever pranging the other's behind (he has athing about bashing wing mirrors too) but I still use the mirrors and turn my head to check despite having bleepers and the camera cos it's no use when it's wet and muddy.
Bed now. Sweet dreams all.

Sorry you’re having such disruptive weather over there. Ours has dropped about 10 degrees overnight and we are cold. Have been over heated for so many weeks that our bodies can’t take the southerly cold change.😳
