    Morning all.
I've just made my first cuppa. Hubby still in bed and I've been to down and put my towels on our fave sunbeds.
    it's a hard life.

Good thinking Pat - take advantage of those air conditioned aisles 🏃🏼‍♀️🥾🎒. Hope you get your step count in.

Freezing here too - but we’ve had very few frosts this year, so its only right ❄️❄️❄️.  Need to get rid of some of those pests before spring.

Good luck at work today Fairy - hope they take the news well 🤞🏻  and can be happy for you 😀

Morning everyone. Yes I did my planned walkies up and down aisles in air conditioned comfort. I did buy unplanned groceries, but all useful. I forgot to put my magic watch on, so I don’t know how many steps I did. 🤭 I’ll just have to do it again won’t I? Maybe tomorrow.

Hubby still not home after a 13 hour  effort. I’ve managed to communicate with him on his mobile. There are a lot of people out there trying to put the fire out. He should be home soon after refueling and filling the water tank on the truck.

    I'm glad he's home @Pat E. It must be such a relief.

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Glad you've found a way to keep cool. Don't be sitting in among the frozen peas in the freezers though... :D
You'll be relieved hubby's ok too.
Not back till Monday chicky, so it'll have to wait  ;)
No frost here today - your turn for it in the south,  although the north east is chilly. Still only 1 degree here though. That's already higher than yesterday. The birds will be hungry.
Hard life right enough Hosta  :)
You're all convincing me it's the right thing to do. I don't have a big commute like you had, steephill, but you get to the point where you feel you're taken for a mug. I've often felt like that, so it's someone else's turn.  :)
I'll go and see if it's light enough to feed the birds without using the backdoor light. Have to economise you know.... ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Yes Hosta, and he’s not going back tomorrow. He’s decided someone else can do a turn.

Fairy, I gave thevfreezers a wide berth. 😆

Pat - that's a relief. I had a very strange image in my head after saying that  :D

Pat, you still have Woolworths, they closed them all down here years ago, I used to love a mooch around Woolworths.
I’m off to the Eden project today with my daughter, Roland has gone back to work from the Christmas break and  some friends that were staying with us have gone home,  my daughter thought I’d be lonely, so she suggested we go.  She has a family season ticket so won’t cost me anything.
Hope everyone has a good day.

We're off for a walk up to the main road to the big supermarket.
I wonder how many times we'll have this conversation:
    " TAXI?"
    "no thank you "
