Another stinking hot day. I’m very limited in what I can do. Might have to turn to my colouring books again. Too hot to knit.

Not very well, Hosta. Felt a bit off today, but have been taking it easy inside. At least now at 6ish, it’s cooling a bit. Got the door open.

I hope your holiday is good for you both.

Poor you Pat, I feel for you. Did you get any painting done?
It's forecast to hit the giddy heights of about 10c today with lovely damp and drizzle to go with it . Yuk.

That looks bearable, Hosta. Better than our 39 etc.

I didn’t pet my paint brushes out today. Grabbed a few coloured pencils and half heartedly coloured a page in a book. It doesn’t look very good.😏

There's usually a nice breeze blowing off the Atlantic so it's bearable. I only complain when there's not wind and you end up all sweaty, which is rarely a good thing.

Sounds right. I really hate sweating all the time. I must say that the holiday location sounds rather good. I grew up on the coast, so it’s my kind of thing, as well. 😃

  • Good morning all  :)
Gday Pat  :) i hope the temperature is a bit more comfortable now. I can’t cope with heat.
Ill be at MIL’s over New Year Eve/Day and without WiFi ... someone else will have to start a new Hello Forkers for January ‘19  :)

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
