Here we are ... it’s December and it’ll soon be the shortest day and Yule and Christmas and then the days will start getting longer and spring will be on its way .... yippee !!!

And it’s @Hostafan1 ‘s birthday too!!! ... hope he and his Lovely Hub are having a wonderful holiday in the sunshine  B)

    Yum ... apparently I arrived at lunchtime and Ma had been looking forward to chicken salad for lunch ... she was very pleased that the hospital staff saved it for her  :). It was always one of her favourite meals.

    evening Pat was dinner good? What’s your temp like?

    i am still recovering from being chilled to the bone yesterday.  Wee car I use for taking Talla on Therapet duties broke down, fortunately I had just got off motorway and managed to freewheel onto safe place. It’s a black spot for phones, dreadful time texting, a word at a time, to get help.    I stayed out the car but left Talla in as I felt she would be so confused.  
    As we are about to get a new car (on Thursday) oh had not Renewed the rescue service!
    a lesson here.  Did you know you can’t tow automatics?

    Oh @Lily Pilly what a horrid day ((hugs)). Keep warm and cosy today. Poor Talla too ... bless her.  Yes, I remember that about automatics ... you have to lift the driving wheels and tow the car on the other two. I once worked for a small garage where they did all sorts of specialised repairs and learnt all sorts of arcane stuff about cars  ;)

    Hi Lilyp. Yes it was 30c today - Im not happy about it. It knocks me about. 
    Dinner was surprisingly good. I’ve got to give him encouragement when he’s made such an effort. 
    Didnt know about the towing problem with automatics.

    Happy December . Where on earth did November go?  :o 
    What a horrible day you had LP. It wasn't a day to be hanging around waiting out in the open. Hope you're ok. Did you have a long time to wait? 
    Glad I've only ever had one auto to drive - and it never broke down. Cars are such a boon when they work, and a total pain when they don't.
    It seems to be dry....dare I hope it'll stay like that today  :D
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
