I try to do that AuntyR - especially the sleep. I don't like lying in bed, even if I'm not well. Would rather be up. I've been convinced for a long time that many folk need much more [good] sleep than they get. I reckon bodies can't repair themselves well on poor sleep. That's very true Obs, re the sunset/sunrise. It can be really tricky to get the moment, because it's so short lived too. L. Lomond is tricky because there aren't many places to stop, heading north, from where you can get a view. A couple of mins either way and it's gone. It makes it more satisfying somehow, if you can catch a view. Men seem to have that capacity for retaining weird knowledge and facts, don't they? Especially when it's sport! Grey, dreich and 2 degrees here just now. It's meant to turn frosty later, and then all sorts tomorrow. Daughter texted me to say be careful when she went to work at half seven this morning as it was very icy. It was ok when we went out just after eight though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@punkdoc ... not sure whether distancing himself from the damage he’s done could be described as ‘good’ ... the washed hands of Pontius Pilate and Lady MacBeth didn’t make them the heroes of their stories

Sorry Pat ... UK politics Im not sure whether the world is coming to an end and we’re all going to Hell in a handcart, or whether it’s already happened and this is as bad as it can get but it will go on for ever and ever and ever ....

It's hardly a self-sacrificing/world saving/improving/changing stance he's taken Pdoc. At the very best interpretation of his past action he turned a blind eye to the racists and extremists in his party and there is nothing to be gained for him now by staying with them tho maybe some by distancing himself. Always out for himself that man and he's still living off the EU gravy train with subsidised accommodation, travel and living expenses on top of a very handsome salary and pension while he stays an MEP. Rotten through and through.
Grey day here and getting greyer. Cleaning sort of morning to be followed by a raid on the SM. We know ho wto live here!
Hope everyone is well and warm and safe.
