I sort of nodded off Fairy. Feel a bit more alert after some tasty Hoki fillets.😛

    Morning all.
    Packing to head for home.
I've a little story to tell you upon my return , erm, the Police were involved.
It hit 38C yesterday and some wimps lay under umbrellas, not us.  :disappointed:
Return to Devon tomorrow after overnight stay at Gatwick.

I'd rather the 38C they're forecasting for here.
On a plus note: we'll be stopping at my Fave wholesale nursery in Surrey tomorrow morning.

Ooh Hosta, you’re mean, only telling us half the story. I’ll probably have a disturbed sleep tonight imagining what else you’ll tell us.

Good morning.   I was up and out early today to take Rasta for her haircut.  25 mins to do a 10 minute drive cos the fog was so thick.  Nearly flattened by a lorry leaving the local quarry without looking on my way back.

Have baked a large chocolate carrot cake for the Scrabble this pm.   Cooling now and smell very chocolatey.......   Fog has lifted so OH is out there raking up leaves in the drive.  I have to go and fetch Rasta in half an hour so am enjoying a coffee after cleaning the kitchen and my toys.

Hosta - I do hope you haven't been taking unnecessary risks again.   Enjoy the nursery.

Pat - hope you've recovered form yesterday's exertions.

FG - love that last sunlight reflected in the water.

Have a good day everyone.  Fog has lifted now and it's set to get to 12C but be foggy again overnight.   Lovely.

Lovely photo Fairy. I have quite a lot of sky photos that Mum used to take ('an aeroplane just gone out of sight', as my aunt called them). She painted landscapes so she collected skies. She always said that clouds are a hard thing to invent and make them look real.

    Happy Landings, Hosta

Chocolate carrots and buttered agapanthus - you lot are quite strange  :)
