My gardening plans are once again being delayed. I’ve got tender young seedlings of zucchini and cucumbers to plant out but I’ve been waiting for the 5c nights to finish, now it’s 30c out there again and I don’t think they are up to that either. 🤬 I’d love a happy medium. I wandered into the GH and nearly melted. The strawberries which are in there in tubs and hiding from birds love it.

We’re off to town again today. At least the car is air conditioned.

Sounds like your summer has really kicked in Pat 🥵

Went to the theatre last night to see The Band .....very cheesy story set to the songs of Take That .....great fun 😀. Weary this morning though - TGI Friday 😜
  • Good morning all :) G’day Pat  :) I wonder if rigging up some sort of shade sail would give your seedlings the conditions they need?

Trouble is, I can’t get it out of my head now.😁

5.45pm here and the temp reached 34c today. Haven’t yet been out to get the washing off the line. It’ll be brittle.

  • Glad you had a good night out @chicky ... thing is ‘The Band’ means something quite different to me https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Band

I had to google to find what you saw ... probably showing my age  :/

I’m not sure that I can do that Dove. It might be something for us to think about though.

    Morning Chicky as well.
