    I would, r'girl - but the outside lights are....inside  :D
Hopeless old tart that I am  :/
Would you have been better with a canoe? It makes such a mess once it gets going on  fields, verges, and then onto roads. I was very grateful for the dry day today - tomorrow's to be the same. Welcome relief after all the recent rain and hoolies.
After doing a link on the curmudgeonly thread about Stanley Baxter and Parliamo Glasgow, I had to have a 'wee swatch' at some of  it. Clarra an' her barra. Still makes me laugh after all these years. He was a real one off. They had to abandon doing his shows because the big production numbers were so expensive to stage. Still going strong at 92. My mum and dad loved him, and dad, although a Londoner, had no bother with the lingo  ;)
We don't often see fieldfares here AuntyR - beautiful birds. They flit about the nearby fields though.  I seem to have some thrushes coming in now and again, which is lovely.

There is a video loop on display at the Peoples Palace on Glasgow Green which has one of Stanley Baxter's Parliamo Glasgow sketches as well as Billy Connolly and others. We have a copy of the Parliamo paperback somewhere around, must dig it out for a laugh. Stanley is still going strong with his Playhouse on Radio 4.

He really was the King of Comedy, steephill, or should I say - Queen...  ;)

...and he was pretty good at her too   :D

One of my closest friends in Belgium is originally from Glasgow - born, bred and universitied.  When she gets excited I can't understand a word.   She's been known to speak to me in Flemish - when shopping in Leuven - and I've understood more.

After years of looking I found someone who uses the products bred from her own animals, totally organic and soothes even my granddaughters Hong Kong dry skin
the Peace of mind cream is outstanding

Parliamo Glasgow had us in hysterics usually because I found out what my patients were really trying to say🤣

    Morning peeps.

House is decorated, cards are written 😀. Even managed 30 minutes “gardening” - noticed that all the snowdrops I have in pots are pushing their noses through (feels very early 🤔), so did a spot of weeding in the borders where I have snowdrop clumps.  They are emerging too.

    Have a good week folks

Morning @chicky and those to come.
Day off and I've been awake since 5.30! ( to be fair, I did go to bed at 9.00 last night )

Hopefully there may be a point where I can get into the garden today. It seems to have rained from the minute we got home on Wednesday.
    Devon.
  • Good morning all  :) a sharp hoar frost under a pink dawn this morning ... beautiful.
I had a look for snowdrop noses last week but found no sign ... I shall have another look ...

Morning early birds/afties,evening Pat if you're there
Freezy weezy here Hosta. A welcome relief to have a couple of dry days. It's looking crispy outside but it'll get whiter as it gets light. Lovely jubbly.
chicky - I've had crocus poking through for a while in pots. They're always earlier than the snowdrops I have, but I don't think my s'drops are the 'usual' kind so they're a bit later.
Indoor [and outdoor] decorating will be next weekend here. I think we should get you a flashing red nose for the festive season Hosta  :D
