    Morning all.
Not busy today, nothing planned apart from an oil delivery.

We are off to Norfolk on Thursday.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning.  Blustery here but warmer and dry so OK.  I've been busy tidying up piles of fabric now I have the Xmas patch homework all cut out.  OH won't recognise the place when he gets back from golf.

I'm off to patch group and then mosaic so must go and get showered etc.

Pat - I often come across Aurores here and Odiles and other stuff from fairy tales.   Found it odd at first.   Much more original than all the Marie-something and Jean-somethings.   We have boxes and boxes of photos and negatives upstairs that we need to go thru.  OH wants photos on display once we've decorated it all..........

Busy - you sound busy wih a trip to Norfolk and then the whole famiy for Xmas.   I hope you enjoy all your family festivities and church events.

Enjoy your day out Dove.  AR - hope your neighbourhood has calmed down now.   Hope yours NDN is quiet too Pdoc.   Hosta - have a safe trip home.  Have you got your thermals ready?

    Have a great day everyone.

    Home tomorrow to the cold.
@Fairygirl, this former pasty Scotsman has worked hard to cope with the heat.
I was thinking about you when I wrote that - I knew you'd come back at me!  :D
Hope you're having a good day Dove.
Lovely here - sunny and bright, although still chilly even in the sun, about 6 at best. Could have done with being off and getting some things done outside, but I have to earn a crust.
They've been talking about the gilets jaunes on the radio. Quite hideous situation. Hope you're not affected today Obelixx.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Good afternoon everyone!

I've just about recovered from yesterday's marathon sing (3 hour rehearsal followed in the evening by almost 3 hour concert).  It went pretty well though, and we got a standing ovation at the end.   :)  Wonderful music to be part of.

Lovely photo again, Pat.  We always get vapour trails from aircraft spoiling our blue skies.

Have a happy afternoon/evening everyone.  Safe travels, Hosta!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Really enjoyable day :) ... but now I have ‘gallery feet’ ... so we’re  flollopping on the sofa in front of Mr Eastwood in Pale Rider  <3

He was very handsome in his youth. I liked him in The Beguiled, but many people haven't seen it.
I rather like vapour trails in the blue skies Liri. It can add atmosphere. I love a pic I took of Nevis from the nearby Sgurr Eilde Mor, on a stunning autumn day, and the trail looks like it's pointing down to Nevis's summit  :)
Rather chilly now - nearly zero - and clear  skies mostly. Apparently it was Venus that we could see below the moon this morning. Clear skies tonight and we should see it again tomorrow.
