Fine above the neck but really too skinny for me but he did look good in his poncho and on a horse in all those spaghettis tho my favourite was Two Mules with Shirley McClean as it had humour.
Pottered about tidying and doing odd jobs this am the nrushed out after lunch to patch which involves loading patch materials, cake, mosaic materials and handbag in car and I forgot my coat! It was 15C at 1pm so very mild but rather brisk feeling when I left mosaic at 8pm.
Glad all your singing went well Liri and great to get an ovation.
FG - the gilets jaunes have calmed down here and are no longer allowed to block roads completely but they do close off lanes and slow it all down on the north side of La Roche so we now avoid that junction and take the scenic route. The protest at the south end has become just a group of people burning pallets and sheltering from the rain and wind under a makeshift tent.
The ones in Paris were joined by "professional" protesters who seize the opportunity to cause mayhem thus earning a severe response from the police with unfortunate consequences for some of the people who are just expressing frustration. It is beyond my understanding how, time and again, people in government underestimate or completely misread the public mood and are then surprised when they protest, demonstrate or vote in unexpected ways. Why have they not grasped the power of Facebook and Twitter to bring folk together and organise?

We’re off to Canberra today. I’ll be spending the day with my lovely daughter and Hubby with our son. I don’t often have the chance to spend quality time with her, so I’m looking forward to it.😃❤️
...but they're so common around here (because we're within striking distance of Manchester Airport and Leeds-Bradford) that it's a lovely change to see a completely blue sky like Pat's.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Did you fall alseep Pat ? Morning all/afties, evening Pat Hope your day yesterday was everything you'd hoped for. Not even 'make my day' Dove....I'm disappointed... r'girl - Paint your Wagon...chuckle Obs - it did seem that there was lot of professional troublemakers among the 'proper' protestors, which seems to be common now. I quite like that pic, Liri, but I take your point! I keep making a point of taking pix of the sky. I often think we forget how amazing it can be, and because I've been scouring my photos for ones to print, I've looked at ones I haven't seen for a while. I particularly like this one
Our frost has given way to some rain and fabulous black clouds across the clear sky. Just above freezing now but maybe a few wintery showers to come. I'll have a quick look round before I head off. Have a good day all.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
