Radio is not what it used to be, we need another Terry Wogan. Could you see Janet and John going down well now 😀

I rarely listen to radio now.
Too many egos for DJs and too much waffle. Even Classic FM has gone right downhill. Given the vast repertoire available, they seem to play the same stuff over and over and they have too many "request" programmes.

Good evening!   What a grumpy lot of Forkers you've been today.

Haven't listened to Radio 2 in decades.  For some reason FM is not available down the M4 corridor towards SIL so I don't even tune it in from Dover now.   Can't bear the midday chappy Jeremy ? or the one after anyway and that's when I tend to be driving up from a Channel crossing.

Have had a good day fetching Possum from Nantes airports despite gilets jaunes at the péages.   Lovely lunch in a brasserie we like and then the Xmas market where we found a security locked backpack she wanted for Xmas for her PC and stuff.   None in the shops and not happy ordering online and yet there they were at the market.  brilliant - but a birthday prezzie now.   Picked up a few other bits of goodies too and I bought her the new Imagine Dragons CD and a 3 CD set of Queen for me.   Turns out she doesn't have a CD player, not even on her new PC!  Good job I do so she can have a copy on a stick.

We did all our veg and dairy shopping yesterday too BL plus a slab of belly pork for Sunday evening but duck and jumbo prawns and so on have been in the freezer for a while - saving on Xmas price rises.   Possum has come home with a nasty cough and blocked sinuses.   I hope both you and she are fit in time for the festivities.  Same for anyone else with lurgies.

Chin up Steephill.   As you say, plenty of distractions at this time of year.  Hope you get results and any treatment needed asap.   Good luck to all in a similar position.

Hope you've had a good time today Dove and aren't too exhausted.

Forgot to say - Nantes offers free public transport on Saturday and Sunday so free park and ride for us today.  How good is that for encouraging people into the town to shop, eat, drink and play.

I've wrapped all the presents and hung up the decorations today.

This is the wreath I made at the craft afternoon about 3 weeks ago.

That’s lovely BusyL. I imagine it was fun being in a group making them.

Im feeling less agro today.😃. I’m rather pleased to hear that our son and daughter are spending Christmas Day together. They live on opposite sides of Canberra which makes it about an hour’s drive with traffic, and their lives are quite different with him at Uni and her being a home person with a son for company.  She has got some of her friends coming as well and making a nice lunchfor all.

Its sunny today and predicted to be 30c The days are supposed to get hotter each day with 39c for Thursday. Looks like an inside day with air con.😡🥵

    Have a good sleep all.

    Morning all.
Woke this morning to find the woodburner had burnt out. Hubby has many talents, but getting it going isn't one of them.
I've managed to get it going before heading to the coal face .
Wish me luck folks, I reckon I'll need it today.

Morning Hosta/afties, evening Pat if you're there
I think you'll need the luck, Hosta - d'you think there'll be any disgruntled customers throwing their turkeys back this year and behaving like petulant toddlers?
Daughter's working tomorrow as well, so she can get me anything I need. Not going near the place  :D
Lovely wreath BL. I likey the lichen :)
Think mine's still attached to the door, although it was very windy the other day, so maybe I should look  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
