We had a Mégane, briefly, inherited when OH took over running the golf club. So pleased when I had a crunch and it fell apart without hurting anyone. Got a proper car after that. Glad you managed to get into your boot Dove. Is the lid not hinged and liftable? Mine was on my wee Corsa and all theback seats in our successive Opels fold down so you can get long stuff in....... Very handy the time that OH carefully reversed our Omega estate ino a post and bent the back so much it couldn't open - on our way home from a trip to see friends in London so chock full of goodies and perishables and a plant or 3.
Love your wreath BL. Never seen lichen like that round here. It's beautiful.
Great photo Chicky but agree with others - can't face central London anymore.
Quiet day here. Have made a huge pot of my red cabbage salad and finally sorted out the volcanic sweet chili sauce and have a pot of blue pumpkin soup on the go for lunch with bacon muffins.
Hope your day is not too stressful Hosta and anyone else who's working today.
Haven't seen any news or wetaher today and plan not to but I hope all who visit here are well and cosy.

Wow! The moon tonight is really bright. No clouds and it’s like daylight out there. Aunty Rach, yes it takes a while to get used to my opposite weather from yours, doesn’t it.
Nope @Obelixx ... not only is it a coupé but it's a convertible and the roof slides down into the boot so rather than being hinged normally it has sort of 'folding legs' at each side ... for a moment I thought I'd solved the problem and would press the button to put the roof down, but of course before you do that you have to pull a cover across any shopping in the boot and that has a sensor attached ... it won't put the roof down unless it's been done ... and of course as it's winter now I'd not done it ............

You need a proper car Dove, rather than a mid life crisis one Nothing's ever simple eh? It occurred to me when reading about your fridge shelf prob, that its no wonder that people don't mend things when the spares are so expensive. After buying a couple of replacement items, you're often better off buying a new one. Night Pat, sleep tight We currently have freezing fog which was the forecast for tonight and all day tomorrow. There was a layer of ice on the car earlier. It looked like it was brightening up around 10, but nope, it's come back. I've been attaching some of that film to my front window instead of the horrible blinds that are there. You know when you think something will be simple...and it really isn't?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
The cost of the shelf will be offset ‘cos I was about to order a piece of thick toughened glass with ground edges as I’ve found if to be the best surface for mixing oil paint ... so not too bad considering ...
Son helped me choose the car ... he wanted me to have it ‘cos when it was made it had the highest safety score of all cars that age ... the roof is a bit of fun but what’s life without that ... I’ve spent a lot of life being sensible ... I’ve had it seven years ... it doesn’t owe me anything

Oh dear again, Dove! Hope the jar of Korma paste holds up!
I have a Renault Mégane Estate, flame red, my second one. I love it, smooth, quiet, fast good road holding and I can find it in car parks.
Thank you all about my wreath. It was fun to make. The craft lady had some ash twigs and a large pencil sharpener, she showed us how to make flowers by turning them in the sharpener and putting a shiny bead in the middle.
Son 1 is arriving this afternoon, then daughter 1 tomorrow before lunch, then son and daughter 2. 11 grandchildren. It will be chaos, may not post again for a bit.
Pat, just off to answer your PM.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Have a great time Lizzie. In fact have a great time everybody 😀. I am about to roll my sleeves up and start cooking desserts. Dad arrives in a bit, so Christmas starts here.......see you on the other side 😜
