You’ve all been very entertaining these last few pages. I’m sitting here sweating in our 30c something day and you are all freezing. There’s no justice. I’d like somewhere in the middle please. 😊
Morning all and G’day Pat. I can’t believe its Christmas Eve! Mixed feelings for me as at this time of year, and I’m sure many of you are likewise. I hope that there is a bit of Christmas magic for you all this week, be it traditional celebration or your own take on the festive holiday. Have a good day all - check in later...
Good morning all Gday Pat Christmas ice cream sounds lovely. Ive had an email to say the fridge shelf will arrive today. there are mince pies and chocolate mousse to make, the turkey to stuff, giblet stock to simmer, bread sauce and cranberry sauce to make, veggies to prep and some piggies to wrap in their blankets ... apart from that lot we’re all done ...

Good morning Forkers, much improved thank goodness but still wobbly i have always felt this is the most magical day of the year. My daughter feels the same and we always speak today. I hope some magic sprinkles over their house.
Enjoy the day, in case I don’t get back on
A wee Christmas thought
to everyone feeling poorly, may you feel relief and comfort soon to everyone worried, may peace land on you and allow you to smile to those parted from loved ones, remember love conquers all to those feeling trapped for one reason or another, there is a key and you will find it to those frightened remember you are never alone just reach out your hand to all our animal friends being neglected we are sorry and will try to find you to those who are none of the above, remember to be thankful and reach out to the others
a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas

Lovely words @Lily Pilly Glad you’re feeling a bit better but don’t overdo it ... labrynthitis is horrid. I’ve had it ... twice it was caused by too much Lilly pollen in the house!

Happy Christmas , Pat. One of the best Xmas I had was in Oz. On the beach first thing, then barbequed lobster for lunch. We had to put ice in the white wine as it was over 30C.
Here if you want rum n raisin ice cream, Tesco are age checking. I thought it was only flavouring in their ice cream, but I may be wrong.
I have to make custard for the boxing day trifle, but I am debating whether to put another fruit and jelly layer on. So far it has two swiss rolls, a cup of Harveys bristol cream, two tins of mixed fruit, and two pints of strawberry jelly. its a big bowl. There will be 18 of us on boxing day at Mums.
I just found out my nephew has another son by another mother. That is three by three. My mum has offerered to buy him a vasectomy for xmas. I refuse to buy another present at this late stage for something sprung on me. Wisely he has gone away for Xmas with another girlfriend. Lets hope he doesn't go for Four x Four.

We’ve got lobster for tomorrow’s meal. 🤪 I’ll probably pick some salad to go with it. Not sure yet, but the weather is going to be HOT. 32 predicted.
