's sake Dove. Were you very naughty in a previous life?  ;)
BL - methinks you need to rope in a bit of assistance next year. You must be shattered. Do you actually get a chance to sit down and enjoy any of it! Hope you're feeling a bit better though.
Fog is gey thick here. Glad I don't have to go back out. The screen looks like it has a layer of snow on it. The dampness from yesterday certainly made some nice patterns on foliage and structures once it all froze up. Couldn't get the back gate open earlier though - bolt was frozen into place  :D

    That's a poor excuse, Dove  :D
I finished fixing my two lights, and now one of the bulbs won't work, and I don't have any spares that type. Just as well I haven't got round to doing the shelves they're to go on.....
The bossy female blackbird gave another female a right seeing to earlier. Across the grass, onto the side fence, and right along the back fence. What a mare she is. Three little males out there today. One has very pale tail feathers and wing tips, and one still has a browny beak, so easy to identify.
Poor things - you do wonder how the wee souls  manage when the ground is solid, if no one puts food out for them.  :(

It is ridiculously warm here FG.   Had to take off my jacket half way round walkies just now and the sky is finally clearing from pale grey to pale blue with streaky gold bits to the south and west.

Possum says she's very pleased to be an only child and have a parent intensive Xmas but then she does still have full on sinuses from her cold so is appreciating being cared for with canine and feline cuddles on tap too.

I hope you get to enjoy having everyone their BL and don't have to be busy all the time.

Maybe think about a bulk order for shelves Nooj?  Or just get some perspex panels cut to size at the DIY.  Hope there are no more casualties in store.

I'm off to wrap prezzies now and then put them under the tree.   Have to do that late or they get re-arranged by the critters.

Have a lovely evening everyone and enjoy the festivities tomorrow.

Minus 3 here at the mo Obelixx. Everything looks very pretty, but it's not weather to hang about in. Think it's to be a good bit milder tomorrow.
Girls are about to go to their dad's overnight, and they'll be back tomorrow lunchtime-ish. I shall potter/ferdiddle around, and go to the cemetery in the morning, before  doing the necessary for dinner.

If I don't 'see you', enjoy your day tomorrow  everyone, whatever delights or distractions it contains. Don't eat or drink too  much.... ;)

Joni Mitchell , from the album Blue. ( can't remember the track name. Is it something like " I wish I had a river" or something?)

    Just 'River' , Hosta

I've always said I'd like to learn the piano, just so that I could play that one song  :)

@Hostafan1. Sounds like you may have gone to Homeleigh, It’s been terrible in there for a month! The girls were fed up and were urging us to complain to management.  Glad I only wanted rabbit bedding, wouldn’t have stopped to look around.

@Dovefromabove. Have you got a lot of people coming for Christmas, I’ve only got one smallish freezer and a small fridge and will have 6 on the day and 9 on Boxing Day.

  • Just the one son @Lyn ;) but as he lives with a mate on a houseboat he doesn’t get a lot of home cooking ... also we like living off the leftovers for the rest of the week  B)

  • Happy Christmas to all you Forkers. I have gathered the Christmas veg harvest from the Allotment just about to go & "do" the Sprout prep. We have a bakers dozen tomorrow the 3 GC's eat as much as adults now. Trouble is my OH insists on offering 3 or 4 alternatives for Starters  & Pud to cater for all the likes dislikes & allergies, but at least they all eat the same main. Worse still she has put her back out so it looks like the sous chef is going to have to step up.  Wish me luck!
