    Morning Dove. Stinking hot here and 37 predicted for tomorrow. 😡

    Thanks for your comment about my colouring. I’m well aware that’s it’s not very good, but I was really just trying out my new paints. I was using the brush I use for stamens, but couldn’t see the tip sometimes with the new paint. 🥴

    Monring all/afties,evening Pat. That's unbearably hot. Just as well you have your new toys to keep you entertained. Lovely pic. I had a go at turning it, but I couldn't manage it for some reason.
    Just taken daughter to work. How on earth do we manage when the  supermarkets are shut for a whole day  ;)
    Nice to see you Steve - hope all is well with you and hubby. How is that lovely garden lodge you have?  :)
    Very mild - almost double figures. It was the same yesterday, eventually. Heating was hardly on in the evening. Lounge is cosy once all the lights are one etc too.
    We enjoyed our Christmas dinner - hope everyone else did, and the day was all it was cracked up to be.
    Chicken carcass is now in a pot making stock for soup 😋 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    @Steve the Gardening Vet, I'm so  sorry. I forgot to say hi. I hope you're both well and you're able to rest and have some time together over "the holidays"
    @Fairygirl, Waitrose are shut today too. Coz they're lovely and let us have an extra day off.

    You can usually copy and save pix,  and then twiddle with them, Pat. Not sure why I couldn't get it to work.  :/
