Swan Lake on BBC4 later, that’ll do me for Christmas viewing, oh, and the new Agatha Christie.
Turkey crown is done and out of the oven.  Potatoes and parsnips par boiling and tin waiting.  Everything all prepared,  just waiting for the boys to rush in like whirlwinds😀

Merry Christmas everyone.    We have had a festive lunch and are now enjoying 7 brides which has some superb dancing and one or two good lines of dialogue.   Walkies later on and then Xmas dinner.   The one and only time I have enjoyed a turkey dinner was when I followed Gary Rhodes' recipe after finding an organic turkey one year in Belgium.   Supermarket in an anglophone intense enclave.

Prezzies have been exchanged including new oinky pigs for the doggies who are running around like puppies with their new toys.   Very funny.

It's clear, blue and sunny here and not as warm as yesterday which is welcome.

Hope you're all having a lovely day whatever you're doing.   Will you show us what you've done with your new paints Pat?   Which fast food does grandson work in?

  • Its just the two of us this year so we will have dinner later.

Went to the beach this morning to watch the Christmas swim Brrrr to cold for me, the Gardeners Boy was there with his house full of guests and two daughters.

Four or five of them went in including GB he also laid on gallons of hot mulled wine and mince pies for everyone. I don't know where he gets the energy from.

Well soon be time to get the oven on hope everyone is having a wonderful day

Obelixx, in answer to your question. Hungry Jacks.
Heres my colouring page from Johanna’s Christmas book. Not finished or refined, it does show how shiny the paints are.

    Couldnt turn it around, sorry.
