Morning all, we have just given my bil a night in a rather special place for his birthday. Sadly it is up in Loch Fyne easiest reach by going up the R and BT.   This has been going on for years and no one seems to have the answer I remember when it was only the military  road
Fairy have you seen the forecast for the weekend?!
Morning Busy, I saw you were home, sounded simply gorgeous. It’s s part of the world on my bucket list   Very excited as we go off a week today,
Pat sheep seem to wander wherever  they want here,
It’s very grey and misty, another night of rubbish sleep.
I have the best gp I have ever had and she had bad toothache yesterday poor thing , but still spent lots of time making sure I had everything I could possibly need for my eyes.

I absolutely agree, Hosta, either pay for your own b****y wedding, or have a more realistic affair.  My neighbour was disgusted when she heard, "they" want the homeless removed so they dont blot the view! grrrrrr.

    Morning all.

France Telecom have told me that at last they have repaired the phone line while we were away. The phone has stopped crackling and Internet speed is faster so I'll attempt to post a photo. Line has needed repairing for well over a year but they insisted that there was nothing wrong with it.

Lake Maggiore showing Isola Bella where there is a palace and a beautiful, but a bit too formal for my taste, garden. The weather was lovely, early 20s, blue skies - apart from one cloudy day. The little restaurants were lovely, I've put on 2lbs. We also saw the garden and palace on Isola Madre and took the boat to visit the Taranto botanical garden and the cable car to see the alpine garden.

Princess Eugenie is the Queen's granddaughter and 9th in line to the throne. She is not paid for by the public purse but it is natural that her grandparents will want to be involved with her wedding. It isn't Eugenie's fault that security will be needed and the police will have to provide it. It won't be as much as other recent royal weddings as she isn't such a prominent member of the royal family and it will be a smaller affair. I am all for the Queen, she has done an amazing job and is greatly admired and respected by countries all over the world. If a royal wedding attracts crowds then they will all be providing local hotels, B&Bs, shops, restaurants, pubs etc with more income while they are in the town. Do you really want some nutter to chuck a bomb into the crowd at the wedding?

Nice dry start to the morning and my 'grass man' had just finished cutting the grass when the heavens opened. It's dry again and the sun is trying to break through.

Lovely pic BL. Glad you enjoyed your holiday. You would need it after all your upheaval of moving cottages.

I've just tried to post more photos on the Garden Visits thread, but it didn't work so posted links instead. I still can't see anyone's photos there, used to be one of my favourite threads. I wish they hadn't changed this site.
