    Good morning Fairy and Flumpy.
Its even been a bit too warm this afternoon in the garden.🤭 not sure what it got to, but I’m going to need to change my usual clothes I think.

At least I got some weeding done between the Celeriac plants, so they look rather good. I’m still wrestling with which garden beds I’m going to plant my tomatoes in this year. I haven’t even started my seeds off yet for zucchini, cucumbers, dill, basil, etc. A few more days cleaning around the veg beds might sort out my thoughts.

Hope you all all have a good day.

I caught GW last night . Dying fabrics with plant extracts?? Really? Are we all going to rush out and try that? Methinks not.
Thank goodness for the FF button.

A couple more photos from the garden. The first is a cherry which I grew from seed. Don’t know the variety.

The second is a crab apple, again one I grew from seed, so don’t know variety.
Interestingly, the seed came from a friend’s garden and I’ve made lots of jelly over the years. Maybe this year I’ll have fruit from my own trees. The fruit is rather large for crab apple - about 6 cm across, but not edible like an apple.

Lovely pix Pat - and very satisfying when you've grown it yourself.
Have to agree with you re the dyeing fabric item Hosta. I'm all for widening the subject material, but ...seriously?
Good that your sleep pattern is generally improving. Focus on the good nights, and tell yourself it's got better so that the bad nigths don't become the elephant in the room. Ooh - maybe it's the elephant that keeps you awake - eating buns and trumpeting....
Just looked back at chicky's pic on the previous thread. Beautiful.
We thought you'd gone away LP. Hope there's good news for you from the hosp.
Was going to put a wash out, but the goldfinches were so busy, I watched them instead. Six - filling every available port on the feeders, and one waiting [impatiently ] on the bracket. Really beautiful to see them.
I'll do some pix later of the hog house wonks. I haven't sorted them yet. Daughter is fabricating a posh sign. Keeps her off the streets I suppose.... ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Nice to see your Spring @Pat as we're heading into Winter.
My prediction is we're going to have an exceptional season of Autumn colour. An early cold snap has triggered it to start, but now it's forecast to be mild which should prolong it.

When is this 'mild' coming, of which you speak Hosta?  :D
We've got some nice colour round here, but some of the foliage looks a bit manky after the wind and rain. We didn't have our usual dry, cold September which can bring some glorious colour for a good spell.
Been out to see if the hogs have taken a look in the new accomodation. I put a little food in the feeding bit, but they seem to have been largely in the front garden - digging up the bit of grass at the path edge. Something very tasty is living in there.
Has Spikey been Hosta - or is he still missing?  :(

@Fairygirl, "mild" as in "frost - free" and no, no signs of Spikey and chums. :'(:'(:'(
