Good morning all.  Busy start to the day.  We have 2 electricians playing in the shower room, ahead of schedule so they can complete the wiring installation for the hot water tank before the plumbers come and block their access with the tank.   Plumbers are due later after an emergency call is done.

I have made them some chocolate chip biscuits while I still have leccy.   Now I'm dog sitting but I can take them down the garden at lunchtime and plant my garlic in peace while they run around.   Misty and cool here now and we have wet air but not rain so happy indoors for now.

Liri - I sincerely hope you have a better train journey than that last one which failed to deliver.   Big hugs.

LP - that all sounds very (too ??) exciting but I would very much like to visit that corner of the world.  OH not keen tho.  Enjoy.

Hosta - no mobile phone?   I always thought fixed line had the same delivery as internet but not the same connection protocols so yes, you can have one without t'other working.

    Have a good one everyone.

Morning all/afties Pat. That pic keeps us all optimistic about spring as head through autumn  ;)
I'm hoping the dried up Lily of the Valley pips, that I bought for a quid, and which flowered for the first time this spring, will spread. I love it.  :)
    Glad Wonks is fine Dove.

Been up to the frozen north at the weekend, well as far as Glasgow :D . Will post some pics later.

Some people were excited about a bit of glamour coming to town - road closures begin for Hollywood film - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-45937425 Taxi drivers weren't best pleased but then again they never are.

I was almost tempted steephill, as I rather like Mr Elba, but I can't cope with Glasgow - or any  other busy area - any more. As daughter has gone in for her buses today, I was trying to persuade her to get a photo, but she just gave me 'a look'. I know my place....
    Look forward to your pix.
'Frozen north'... :D  Although higher hills have already had snow in the last few weeks, it will be very snowy on hills in the next few days.  One of the forecasts I check has sleety snow forecast for here tomorrow, but the other one says not. As long as it's not too heavy it'll be fine outside. It's not looking too bad right now so I suppose I should go and get on.
    Have  a good day all

Is that an old thread trawled up for the purposes of advertising?  I've flagged it ....

Glasgow photos - found these amazing murals on Ingram Street. Always enjoyed seeing the murals when we lived in Glasgow in the 80's, good to see the tradition is alive and well. Hopefully these aren't too big and load quickly for those on slower internet.
