Hi Leigh This October is certainly colourful. Lots of recent photos on the Garden Gallery thread. I’m on my phone at the moment and it’ll grind to a halt if I look at your video, so I’ll check it out later when I’m on my laptop Whereabouts is your garden and what are you growing?

@dovefromabove I'm in sunny Essex, east of London. Such a warm October.
Morning all/afties Pat. SOmeof our days have been the 'wrong way round' too Hosta - you're probably away now, but the bikes with engines seemed a cop out to me until I met two nice blokes at the top of a hill in the Cairngorms. Because there's a reasonable enough path for bikes, and it's an area for lots of outdoor sports, it means folk can mountain bike and access lots of lovely areas. One of them was slightly 'portly' though, and he had a bike with an engine. He freely admitted that without it, he'd never have got up there, so it allowed him to have the views, especially over the loch down below, and a great day out with his friend. Horses and courses and all that chicky - you and Mr C will have Chris Hoy thighs when you get home... Wee bit chilly here this morning, about 7 just now, but nice and dry and calm. I'm off next week again - came out of the blue - so hopefully it'll be dry enough to do more outside. Saw your lovely pix Dove but didn't have time to comment. We have a real mix here - some trees completley bare, yet some only just turning, which is very odd. Good to 'meet' you Leigh - join in with evrything on the forum and enjoy. Better shift and get to work. Catch you all later
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Chicky your holiday sounds just the way I could do a cycle ride, but I would need the car behind me to pick me up for wee rests
Hosta, time will fly by.
Hello Leigh!
Fairy glad to hear the driving is all coming on, i found it a difficult time. You got no frost?
So, today is the day. We start our adventure this afternoon, admit I am very excited. The Arabian part of the world has always fascinated me. There will be so much to see 380 eye drops packed, two rounds of emergency medication, two epipens and lots else but they are letting me go. I would have been really miffed to cancel this one.
Will try and pop in and post some pics Stay well., safe and happy and if anyone has time my garden is waaaaay behind!

Hope your holiday turns out to be all you hope for Lilyp.
So, Lilyp, the day you got your first frost, we have the doors open for the first time and spent a lot of time on the front verandah. No wonder we feel upside down.
Hosta, glad you enjoyed seeing the Kimberley. It’s very interesting up there.
@Lily Pilly Have a great holiday, I was luckily enough to work in that part of the world for a few years it is a fascinating and beautiful place (most of it)
I gave up on two wheels a few years ago and brought myself a tricycle with all the shopping bags front and back, works well around here not to many hills !! We have good cycle paths around and along the sea front.
Nice sunny morning here with a good day forecast so after a few errands to run and flu jab this morning I hope to get some time in the garden this afternoon.

They’ve promised is a dry day here @Pat ... I’ve got some pairs of jeans ready for the wash ... I’ll do them this morning.
Supper will be a butternut squash and sage risotto so no need to go shopping ... OH is going to work and I’ll spend some time in the studio

So it's October again! Thought this October group might like my October post. I'm new to YouTubeing, but love gardening.
October is so full of colour don't you think?
