  • Evening all first time here today reading back see there are the usual ups and downs I hope it works out as you wish everyone.
@punkdoc your love Gleneagles I was lucky enough to go there for a few days a couple of years ago when I was in Scotland on business.
I'v had a very productive day in the garden and on the allotment now I'm bushed so I'm off for a soak in the bath.
Have a good evening all .

Evening all. Productive day despite the weather making it tricky. Had to abandon what I was doing as it got too wet. Heating's on. It struggled to make double figures. So much for the dry, partly sunny day that was forecast!
doc - enjoy your treat as much as possible. Both of you. Talk about the rest when you're able . Hopefully the colours will still be superb, and the weather won't be too snowy xx
My colleague at work goes there every year as her Dad has a cottage. Her sister now works there too, so they get good discounts  ;)
Took daughter to B&Q with me, and she had a bit of driving practice in the car park. She did very well. She's only had 3 lessons, so I think I was quite brave letting her loose in the new car.... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Evening all, busy day at work and now have a full belly and all my jobs done, cup of tea then bed for me!
Pdoc, your birthday treat sounds lovely, wonderful that you were able to rebook. Best wishes to you and Mrs Pdoc 😊
Hope you are on the mend Lilyp 😊
Hosta,  hope you get some sleep tonight! 😊
Fairy, yes! Very brave of you but wise too, sometimes mums taxi wants time off, and sometimes mums want a taxi of their own if their Fairy wings are a bit squiffy! 😉
Off to bed for me, Agatha Christie audio book and cup of Darjeeling, night all!

Off to Lake Maggiore tomorrow. Packing done, will leave after brekkies. Good thing I rang the hotel in the Alps, they had lost our booking. Luckily as it is now low season they had rooms. I had a 4 page reply from them when I booked, map and how to find it included. I printed it out so I can show them. The hotel in Italy had written a nice email to say they were looking forward to meeting us. It was in English too.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.
Awake since 5am ,but I'd slept from 10.30, so I'm not complaining, except that it's dark so can't go out and do anything in the garden yet.

Good morning Hosta. Good that you had a sleep through. I’ve been sitting on the front verandah enjoying a lovely mild sunny day for a change. It’s clouding over now though, so back inside.
