Evening folks. Glad OH is ok BL.
Liri - I'd agree - you'll probably worry if you don't go, but it's never easy making those decisions.
It's the s*dding cat that's been eating the biscuits. Mr Foxy had been trying to tunnel in under the fence, but I've 'foxed' him ' - [ d'you see what I did there :D ] by mortaring the bottom of the little gap so only a hoggy can get under.  :)
Slippery tracks eh? Whatever next - tracks are too bendy for the trains to go round corners....
I'm watching Philadelphia - that bit with Hanks, Denzel, and the inimitable Callas. Jeez. No words to describe that,  and do it justice  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks for your sensible advice, folks.  As it happens it's taken out of my hands - I'm catching the first train up in the morning.  The hospital say she's failing and may not last more than a day or two.  I know she's 97 and has Alzheimer's but she's still my mum... I hadn't expected to feel so emotional...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Liri - I'm so sorry. Much love to you and the family. Of course you're emotional.  x

    Evening.
Oh Liri - what a stressful time for you. I hope your Mum is comfortable and the staff are keeping her safe, settled and cosy.

    Hugs to Liri xx

A message from @WonkyWomble who sends love and warm wishes to all her friends here ... she’s busy at work and enjoying what time she can with her Lovely Hub, the cats and her garden but just because she doesn’t have much time to post that doesn’t mean that she’s not popping in and keeping an eye on us all and keeping up to date with all our doings ... she’s watching us  ;)

Night night all ... sweet dreams  :)
