Personally I don’t think the Tax payers should be contributing to this weddings security, just have it at some where more secure I also think the Queen has done a great job
If she works for a living [and so does the fiancee, who is a millionaire or summat] all the more reason they should fund their own nuptials, like ordinary folk do nowadays Been out for more Driving Miss Fairy, and she's doing much better with my car. They have to do parking for their test now [in various guises] so she's doing some reversing in and out etc. Hang on to your hat Joyce - coast is getting some gale force stuff through the night. Had to laugh at the girl on the Scottish news - she said some 'lively weather' was on it's way Hozier's new song also has Maria Staples on it doc. It's quite gospel-y. Unusual pairing but it works brilliantly .He's fantastic anyway. Any repercusiions from your twut of a neighbour? Horrible accident on the M4. I have to try not to think of these things while fairylet is learning... Think LP's BIL will have to take the Crianlarich road. Still looking bad for the next few days, and road still closed as they have to deal with all the huge boulders which have been exposed on Beinn Luibhean. I enjoyed my walk up it last New Year. There'll be nothing left of it at this rate
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
FG, I hope it's not too "lively" overnight. Luckily most of the leaves are off some of the big trees at the back which slightly reduces the chance of them being blown down. Hope Lily P doesn't have any more trees blown down.
I was expecting rain today, so I washed the seaweed and spread it out on the patio to give it another rinse. No rain whatsoever. The only plastic rubbish I found among it was one plastic straw, two lengths of fishing line , one small flimsy plastic bag, and an inch square bit of blue plastic. I also found a shark egg case with a small dead shark embryo in, and a razor shell. Not bad. I would recommend it as a clean beach.
I also picked a load of dahlias today before the winds hit.
Think it's during the day we're to get the winds here Joyce. Not sure how much LP is to get, and it changes with each forecast. I was just admiring a couple of Acers today which look like they're on fire, and some lovely beech hedging which was every shade from green to gold. It would be nice to enjoy those for a few more weeks
