I've just made an appointment to see Doc at 12 noon .
My own GP is on a 6 month sabbatical , so no doubt I'm going to have to explain the whole thing from day one to a new Doctor.

    Oh Hosta. :(
If it's any consolation, I sometimes find a new pair of eyes looking at the issue can be helpful, especially if your usual doc has been your doc for a long time.

Make notes then so you don't forget anything and mention all the tests and scans you've had.   Hope the nausea passes soon.

My bug is still lurking - minor sinusitis now with upper jaw tingling along the teeth roots.   Lovely.

Possum has an interview for a student job at an Irish pub in Namur.   Fingers crossed please. She needs the structure and the experience of working for someone and the pocket money.

Tiler is still grouting so I've started sewing the moon for her quilt.   Interesting......

OH is watching a recording of the Apprentice.  I'm outta here.

I agree ... my previous GP put various problems down to my then age (42)   .... a new GP took one look at me, did some tests and found out that I was so hypothyroid that I was nearly comatose and my heart was being affected!

    Hi @punkdoc :)

Hope Hosta's new GP has some helpful ideas.  :/

The Smart Meter Fitter has not arrived ... I've checked the paperwork ... they should've been here before 12 noon and they should've sent a text or phonecall to say they were on their way.  If they turn up late it will no longer be convenient ... they will have to rearrange.  We need uninterrupted electricity and gas this afternoon (I have a gammon to cook) and we need power in the studio ... we made arrangements to do other things this morning ... that time is over.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Oh dear Dove. Hope you can sort it out. Sometimes these things can drive you crazy.

I've telephoned them ('they' being the company sub-contracted by our power and gas supplier to fit the meter).

Apparently our appointment was cancelled by our supplier with no explanation ... 'they' are going to investigate and ring me back on Monday.

I am not best pleased ... I've also got a feeling that we are entitled to a minimum of £22 for an appointment not kept  :dizzy:

Just watched the Masterchef final. Ok. I won’t spoil it for everyone, but, jay!!!  It was very good. We really enjoyed it.
