Very cute Pat. Definitely have to give them names  ;)
Take it easy today Hosta - you'r enot getting any younger you know...
I - literally - have a pain in my neck. Had it yesterday too. No idea how I've done it, although faffing around with the bird cage and the hoghouse at bad angles has probably caused it.
doc - glad you like my pic, but I think the hogs might have a job getting up there. That's the bird cage  :D
Can't remember if I showed a pic of that. I know someone asked - Wonks maybe? Apologies.
Under construction in the kitchen. Layer of pond underlay for insulation, then pond liner to waterproof it. En suite has waterproofing only - no insulation.

Finished article[s] The en suite attaches with a hinge [ and the little battens ] which also means I can lift the lid to put food etc in, and that bit of rubber [old doormat] provides protection from any water getting in the join. It covers the lid too [main house has the same ] That also screws onto the main house. I tried to get some lightweight timber for a trim, but couldn't see any, so will try another time. Everything I used is stuff I had. The green cover is camouflage only, and the en suite has some leftover roof felt  round it from the storage box I bought recently. All screws recessed, of course  ;)

The b*ggers had better use it...

Not as fancy as @Fairygirl 's goldies, but I love my wee birdies.

Really impressive Fairy. Maybe you should go into business designing hog houses. 😀

Is there anything cuter than little birds having a bath Hosta?   :)
I watched the robin getting shirty with the goldies yesterday. Really funny. There was 2 on the big sunflower heart  feeder, so still 2 ports left, plus the other feeder, and one in the cage. He kept flying at them, as if he wanted on a perch. I thought he was being thick at first, but then I realised he just wanted them away from his 'spot'. They ignored him completely, and he eventually went in the cage with a face like a well skelped *rse  :D

We used to have a wagtail who spent so much time chasing the other birds, he hardly ever ate anything.

Daft beggar. When you say 'used to have', perhaps he really didn't eat anything...;)
I loathe Zoe Ball, so it's a case of it couldn't be much worse - oh yes, it is.  :(
Sara Cox would have been far better. Simon Mayo was being touted. I love him, and can't listen to his show now because of Jo Whiley. They've ruined it.
Did you see my query about Spike?
