I had someone purporting to be from Openreach phone me up the other day about my fluctuating broadband ... I told them I didn't have any 'cos I lived in a tent ... they hung up on me .....  :'(

You and hubby going raving at the weekend then Pat? Mind and get some photos  :D
Hosta - don't hold your breath. There won't be enough compensation for another holiday...
Don't you just love these chancers Dove  ;)
Sun's getting up now and it's rather glorious out there. Went and retrieved the card from the  wildlife camera. Took ages to upload it all, but because of the position at present, it meant it was triggered a lot. Lots of footage of Mr Reynard charging about, who clearly isn't happy that he can't get under the side fence now  :D
Lens had lots of rain on it, so pix were no use, but what was more inetersting is the thermometer, which I hadn't realised it had. Low of minus 4, and that was still the temp when I took the card out at 8.15. Just shows the difference you can have between the north facing garden, and the south facing one. Back garden had a low of about plus 3 or 4.
Now I can see how the Mahonia thinks it's definitely winter  :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all.
    Bloody freezing out there.
Time to move some more tender stuff to the greenhouse.
How can you lie there and think of England

    Ditto.
Quarts and pint pots spring to mind and I've not dug up a single plant yet. All I've moved is pots.
