@Lyn, I left some planted in " the allotment " one year and lost every single one of them. We get completely waterlogged here .
Ah yes of course, I forgot your drainage there, best lift the special ones then.

Evening all. Did someone say pasties and Doom bar for tea?! Just the job!
Have a banging headache - which could be work related or car repair bill related! New bit of exhaust £££. Oh well - she is worth it as served me well for many years. Just having some analgesia and hydration now.

    Hope you all ok.

Just catching up with Jools Holland. Next big thing, imo, Easy Life, excellent band.

    Hope you're better soon AuntyR.
I don't want to appear thick - but what is Doom bar?
Not heard of them doc - I'm overdosing on Mr Odell just now. ;)
If I'm honest -I can't be doing with Jools Holland these days...  :/
Had to come in for a cuppa and a heat up, and it's getting a bit too dark anyway. The robin was still out there on a branch though. It's only 5 degrees just now, but it's been grand. There was a sleety/hail shower passing over - we only got a little. I watched it unload over the moors and East Kilbride  ;)
Nice bit of smoked cod for dinner, but a catch up here first

Ah - I'll just have tea then Dove...or perhaps the small  beverage I purchased today. It made me laugh so I had to get it. I'll take a photo later. It's taking Scotland's daft  'national emblem' a bit too far ... ;)
I certainly don't want to be wibbly....or more wibbly than normal  :D

I shall stick to wine for my alcohol I think and for the flavour, not the wibbles.   We have done all our cleaning and the SM raid for the usual supplies but also goodies for apéro with the neighbours tomorrow.   This will involve assorted nibbles made with our own tomatoes and walnuts.

Hosta, we're just a wee bit east of you in meridian terms so our winter time is your summer time.   Seems perfect to me for winter sunsets and having the sun at its zenith in summer at about 14:15 is just odd.

LP - that is a very strange photo but for all the right reasons.   Love it.

LG - there you are!   Have a great time.

FG - hope you've warmed up.  Fish for us too tonight but "Julienne" which I thnk is ling.

There's been an ice cream van outside for the last ten minutes. Is it just me? It's currently four degrees..... :D
Bl**dy remote control is on the fritz, and I wanted to watch Beechgrove. Boo hiss.
