That is an impressive pumpkin.   Well done.   Loads of soup from that.  Get them to save you the seeds for next year's winner.

Cold here again and cloudy with bright bits.  They now think we may get a bit of rain later on.  Busy's already got it judging by the radar but I'm not holding my breath.   Just think, if we do get rain I may be able to get my bulbs in later in the week.

I have been to check the CH system and the control panel looks like something out of Star Trek from the 60s and I can't remember and can't fathom how to change its timings.   Only want it for 3 rads at the mo.  Service due on the 5th so I'll have to ask for a driving lesson.

Pat - fingers crossed for some rain soon.  Hard to garden in 30C and bone dry soil.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I'm not on personal terms you understand..... ;)
Sorry - I didn't really look. I just plucked a photo form the HIghland Show this year as we do the rosettes. I'll have another look and let you know...

It's the overall beef champion 'Grahams Niaomi' . Limousin heifer, born January 2017, owned by the Graham family - they have a big dairy up here, and their milk is available everywhere.  :)
