    Hello all!

I'm too late to wish Pat and Bruce a happy anniversary... but it looks as if they had one, anyway.   :D

That's a good-looking storage unit, Diana.  Worth the effort, I hope!

I'm faffing about, waiting for it to be time to go and sing in the Choral Society concert this evening.  I'm nervous because I'm the alto soloist in Haydn's St Nicholas mass, and I'm not very good in front of an audience... my hubby says he'll be there, but I've told him to hide behind a pillar...  I'm sure it'll be ok, but I'm at the "why the **** did I agree to do this" stage.   :/

Hope it goes very well @Liriodendron.

How can you lie there and think of England

Thanks @punkdoc!  Actually I had a dream last night in which I literally broke a leg...   :o

Well, a busy old day it's been.
Open reach came this morning to sort out internet/ phone problems. 2 hours he was here and it's still not fixed. He was on the phone to one of his colleagues and said " I'm running a test now. J*s*s: 1,200 fault, no 1,700, no 2, 400, 2,900,3,600. We've got a problem here"
He's coming back on Tuesday after his day off . He said if I got someone else, it might be the end of the week before he came , whereas if he left the job "open" he could come back first thing Tuesday.
The irony is, it's been fine all day.
I moved two lorry loads of chippings this afternoon and didn't even look at my watch to think about  lunch until 3.45, so I've not bothered having any.

That's one way of losing weight, Hosta...   ;)

    Thanks, Diana.   :)

Good luck Liri - but as Diana says - you're the soloist, and you wouldn't be if you weren't good enough. The 'waiting' is always worse than the actual event isn't it? Sending lots of positive thoughts to you  :)
Weather couldn't make it's mind up what it was doing today. Smirr, wind and glimpses of sun. Washing wasn't bad - the wind was drying it a fraction more than the rain was wetting it  ;)
My box is lower than yours Diana - that's why I put it on blocks. Better height to work at now, and space below for pots and bits and pieces. I've got blocks in the middle too - but they're at the back  :)
I just liked looking at Harrison Ford, Obelixx. Didn't really care if he couldn't act  :D
He was good in Witness though - and that other one with Michelle Pfeiffer. I loved Bladerunner too.
Rewatching Landward from last night. [our Countryfile and with lovely Dougie Vipond ;)] The red kite/red squirrel bit is delightful  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Probably a bit late but positive thoughts winging their way for Liri.   It'll be alright on the night, not to say excellent.

FG - absolutely.  What Lies Beneath was very good and Possum, who is a huge Star Wars fan, went out and bought the original Bladerunner before going to see the new one.   Big fans here.

    Just dropping in before bed.

Was going to say that I hope the concert went well, Liri, but you've just posted. You must have a lovely voice. The ladies in the choir OH sings with have good voices but hardly any are good enough to sing solo.

Daughter has invited me to lunch tomorrow.

    Nighties all.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
